Still frame, could've been doing anything before you see that picture, meaning the hat may not be defying gravity, it may just be that it is in the process of falling. That being said, if that is the case, there should probably be more signs that there was motion.

You know, the only true flaw I can see now that's reasonably noticeable is his right eye is a bit too far to the side of his head. That can be easily fixed, though. I'd love to see the finished product. I find it easier to spot them when it's mostly complete.
