It's not hard per se, it's more "OMG b**** HAIR, TRANSPARENT HAIR". And then you end up having to cut the transparent bits off, while still trying to make the render look proportionally correct. Rendering as in making or cutting out. Neither I or Blue can make good flames whatsoever, so that's a b****. Cutting out flames is pretty tough, usually because of the transparency of the actual flames, so even if you cut them out, you might get the background inside it.
