 This is something I made April last year, but I still like to look at it every now and then (don't know if I ever posted this on MG but it's not in this art topic). This is from when I was making some sketches for 'The Extraordinairy Eggplant-Man', a concept I quickly dropped. Might turn Eggplant-Man and the Rad Jackall into Ghost Gumshoes characters if possible. You art reminds me a bit of The Sharp Boys... they're a very small comic book artist group that I think only did one or two extremely unknown comics. One of them was Warrior Issue #4.

Nowadays I draw my main inspiration from Mike Mignola, Steve Purcell and a couple of artists I've seen on either Deviant Art of Tumblr. The detail they include in their backgrounds is amazing, even to the point of becoming insanely messy. Yours is like that, but much cleaner.

When my ego grows to big I usually just compare my own work to other internet artists and pronto, back on track. I'm thinking of taking a few art courses over the course of next year, maybe even try my hand at painting.
