Mr. Shoop, why did you unvote?

I don't wanna random vote Cactus of all people. I'd rather vote somebody else. Like, I don't know, Vote: 194.

What are you doing?

If it matters that much to you I'll revote Cactus.

I want you to give a reason for why you didn’t want to randomvote Cactus.

Cactus didn't respond with something like "Why did you do that!?" or some similar reaction. It's no fun if they don't care.

Panthera. No townie is going to lynch someone in the first pages of a game. If this terrible random lynch that you are afraid of actually did happen, it would split the game in two and provide us with a smaller pool of players to analyze. Said smaller pool is nigh-guaranteed to have more scum in it than the other half if the game, due to the nature of the lynch. Scum will be amongst the first three, maybe four votes on the wagon, but won't go beyond that. If town adds a few more votes, scum may decide to finish it off if they think they can get away with it. Thus, a random lynch at this stage is more beneficial to the town because the wealth of incriminating information that it provides far outweighs the cost of one friendly vote.

Now, before anyone gets the wrong idea, I am not, under any circumstances, advocating a random lynch. It likely would not produce the desired results because of what I have posted. What I am doing is pointing out that what Panthera is doing is really nothing more than fear-mongering under the guise of, again, pseudo-town fluff.

Panthera, as far as I recall, you have done nothing to encourage the progression that you supposedly seek. What would you suggest we do in order to move forward?

Honestly, I feel that Panthera Leo's conservativeness is unwarranted at this point in the game. This is a seventeen man game, it takes nine votes to lynch. No one was anywhere close to feeling the noose. This pseudo-concern about "random lynching" (which hasn't happened once in the history of McLeodGaming Mafia, mind) is a hallmark of scum, not town. It is pure fluff designed to cast the author in a town-coloured light, while providing no actual material to help us progress.

Suspicion: Panthera Leo

Seriously? Is that the best you can do? I thought you were better than that. I try to get the town to end the voting crze, and you accuse me of being pure scum? Ha.

I find this... vastly over-defensive. "This is where I try to discredit you without actually progressing anything."
Definite FoS Leo

@Brik: I suggest we start looking at the D1 actions, especially the votes. Keep in mind that we have •••••••••••••••• to deal with. The two shades of red seem to indicate two scum factions, so there are multiple combinations of scumteams possible. In fact, this entire random lynching conversation has provided us with enough evidence to give me a couple of FOSes here. I wanna write up a long list, but here's the short version:

Mr. Shoop: He's been posting randomly the whole way. No sort of helpful discussion. I believe this could be some sort of effort to throw us off. Possible 3rd party.(viewtopic.php?p=1161440#p1161440)(viewtopic.php?p=1161558#p1161558)(viewtopic.php?p=1161561#p1161561)

Brikmaninoff: Has been able to successfully lead a few members in a bandwagon (viewtopic.php?p=1161576#p1161576)(viewtopic.php?p=1161582#p1161582)(viewtopic.php?p=1161587#p1161587)(viewtopic.php?p=1161597#p1161597). This bandwagon could be either Brik being followed by fellow scum member(s) or possible scum trying to bring Brik along with them.

How is pointing out Brik's faulty reasoning being vastly over-defensive? He said that because I posted a lot during the initial stages of D1, that I was masquerading as a townie. Explain that.

I find no faulty logic in Brik's post. Point it out to me.
There's nothing wrong with pointing out potential bad reasoning, but the way you try to do it is scummy. The way you say "is that the best you can do? Thought you were better than that" is just an attempt discrediting Brik without saying why his logic is wrong.
Also, I find it odd that you FoS Brik, who is "leading a bandwagon" against you. Very OMGUS.

Time for my daily post.

I find rather stupid from Geno to want to start "from scratch", you cannot delete or ignore the previous interaction.

I dont like 194 Vs JamesClyde, both sides look a little bit scummy (Loling at the RVS part)
