well, I'm actually not a line artist, and i am pretty scared of doing this but i was interested in making an animated gif with this particular
style of drawing...
I haven't seen a tutorial for this, I dont know any rules im just going along and logging what i have done so far
I am hoping to get some feedback and or critism, most of all i am hoping someone magical comes along and gives me dos and dont's
I want to know if doing this even posible, and if how i'm going about it is efficient(or atleast efficient enough)

Here they are..: show

this is how i started
Image
I started coloring in the face and stuff
Image
I tried coloring the mask, i wanted to depict luster somehow but i don't know how yet...
Image
drawing in the lines for the hair and extending the head...

If you don't know who i used to reference this then you won't know, to those who recognize your my best friends from here on...
and I never done 'line art' before, not "proffesionally" at least but i do draw outside though...

Oh, nice. I always give spriters props, cause that s*** isn't easy as far as I know.

Also, you can animate gifs in Gimp or Flash. Just look up some tuts on YouTube.

IDK What took me so long to upload these, but I'm continuing..... although phycho is literally the only to give feedback so far.

I really enjoy the way it's coming out. Lots of nice control over the palette, and great motion in the hair. I also really enjoy the shading on the hair, and in general.

I would work on the proportions of the head a bit more (the eye and ear positions are perfect, but the shading on the nose plate should be dropped down a bit to give er a full looking nose, as well as the mouth being dropped lower for a pixel or two). The mouth's proportion is good, it lines up well with the eye's tear ducts. I would also try to play around with the eye's lineart and the shading around it to fully convey the angry expression.

Overall I think it's coming out incredibly well. It's good to see fresh art around the forum.

lengthened her nose

@geno
B4 moving on at all, i wanted to take your advice...
her nose was indeed too short, However i wasn't sure if i should extend the mask, or the face. Also, previously
I had her mouth a lil too far away from the nose, so I bought those together and it looks better.
