i didnt feel like drawing the other gods but i had this on my desktop so i uploaded this instead
this is one of my early OC's, Candita. im all about da magical girls
she's kinda pale here but i messed up and lost the .sai file with all the layers and stuff when my hard drive got corrupted, so i cant give her a tan right now
maybe i should keep sai and my artwork in my dropbox from now on

i got hitboxes working (mostly) how i want them to in umib so to celebrate i decided to make something
it started as a simple water and sky image but since i haven't drawn anami in so long i figured i would draw her
but anami doesnt fly in the sky! so i drew nimbus in there and gave her a custom turtle gi :>
i tried drawing a face but it looks weirder than the rest of the image so i left it out and kept everything minimalistic-ish

she's having fun flying! can you tell?

I really dig your soft watercolour-esque approach to colouring. It's very refreshing. You also draw pretty cute characters so kuddos to you.

You needn't worry about how original your style is I think; he morey ou draw the more you'll start to take inspiration from different sources and the result will be a more personal style. It doesn't happen overnight but gradually, which is why sometimes you won't notice it right away.

Just have fun and keep doing your best. The rest'll work itself out soon.

you know, i never thought about it, but i think you're right :O
the noses i draw now are borrowed from ken sugimori (after i saw the official art for cynthia), the facial structure i like to use is borrowed from usagi drop (the anime, but even then i modified it a little) and i'm sure there are more styles that i'm unconsciously borrowing from lol. i'll keep drawing for sure though. only thing i have a real problem with now is drawing backgrounds (i actually cant draw a simple background to save my life). thanks steven

i drew anami in MvC2 style (aka bengus style) cause i was in a MvC2 kinda mood

his shading style for the game is really cool but its kinda hard to get right if you dont know anatomy (like me)

also i gave her a new weapon

boxing gloves (made of Adamantium) with retractable spikes (also made of Adamantium) that i guess could be used as claws as well

yeah they're retracted. i just drew circles where they would come out, not sure why i didn't actually draw them in
