hi again ^^

after realizing that my former topic had been unused for AGES, i decided to start a new one from scratch.

this time though, i wount be available for requests. i will just post mah stuff here.
altough i can obviously do one or two requests every now and then ^^

this time, i will focus in videogame and movie fictional characters, as well as characters of my own design (OC's.)


hope you all enjoy. i probably will also do a webcoming i have been planning for a while.

introducing... Archeron, the Fake God.

an OC of mine for a school comic project, he is a sorcerer who wants to become god.
pretty humble and modest guy. world domination is all he wants. nothing wrong with that, of course

still, his design is a little outdated, i have changed it moderately in the past 3 months.

instead of controlling elements, like most other mages do, he controlls pure energy. this makes him far faster and more powerfull than any other kind of mage, but in turn makes him very sensible to direct attacks, i. e. a boulder thrown into him. altough if you attack him with anything not solid, like fire / water / wind / rasen-shurikens, he can easily absorb and dissipate them almost effortlessly.

still, has an actualy intheresting personality... he dislikes fighting. unlique most villains. specially those seeking world domination.


i thought you would enjoy this. i liked doing it. 't was fun.

Actually there are a lot of villains that dislike fighting. Either because they are c*** or because they are tragic villains.

Anyway, as for the drawing it's pretty good. You have a nice control over the anatomy. The chest area comes across as a really flat slab of skin though. You could work more with curves, especially since he has quite a bit of muscles going on.

yep, thats onw of the changes i made meanwhile. this was made around december 2013, and a lot has changed since.

as for what Steven said about his personality? hum, i didnt know. i guess i should take a look into it. when i think about antagonists, i normaly think about guys like Darth Vader, Sephiroth, Xemnas, and stuff... maybe i just dont know about any antagonist behaving like that.

been AFK, but the new revamped version of Archeron is ready :3 i will submit tomorrow, probably.

after a lot of attempts, i finaly came up with a decent improvement over the previous version. decided to keep his trademark scarf, but lower so that you could actually see his facial expressions. now he has tattoos in his face; these come from his mage tribe as tradition. however, the suit...

...now THAT was improvement.
the previous version barely had anything in the torso, the cape was in tatters, and in the end this made him look like an overly insane and angsty antagonist, when he was supposed to be a cold, vengefull, very calm and calculistic villain. instead, i chose a far more intricate design, with a very crafty style of equipment.also supposed to be a traditional sorcerer armor from his tribe.

also, he now is far less flashy with his magic (but equally destructive), and uses an enchanted spear (signature weapon of his tribe, as well) with the property of being able to change into any weapon and configuration. he controlls it with his mind, too.
as for his magic, he is a master of pure energy. this means he can very simply obliterate anything he sees with energy bursts, as well as simply absorbing the energy of other spells and nullifying other energy attacks, a.k.a. 90% of other magic spells.

sadly, his magic cant protect him from melee attacks or ranged attacks from solid weapons like spears and arrows, altough he can do some stuff to indirectly nullify these, like bursting the air around them to make them stop or so. but his spells are too dangerous for him to use them up close to himself, so he cant do this to block sword stabs and slashes - thats what the spear is for.


i believe it was overall a MASSIVE improvement over his previous incarnation. what do you think?

SORA!!!!! in all his splendorous final form.
i turned 18, and my absolutely insane mom offered me a professional set of Ciao-class Copic Markers, hermetic box and extra filters included, with a whooping amount of 72 copics. each pen costs about 5€ in portugal, so... holy #%&.

and i thought, "gosh, i must try these out doing something awesome - something i never dared before - and i instantly thought "SORA".

Sora himself wasnt that much hard, but Oathkeeper and Oblivion? damn, those ABOMINATIONS passing for swords were quite literally a kick in the balls of my understanding of how swords work. but heck, who gives a damn about them being or not effective? they're EPIC!

of course, given this was a first run with the markers, i am pretty bad right now, but... hey, practice DOES make perfect, does it not?

Besides his head, everything looks pretty solid.

i will try a "before and after" using the copic markers.
this one was done using my previous technique and materials.

soon i will upload a new one with the copic markers on it.
