The cat's face needs to be fixed, the nose/mouth are sags too much.

Hmm well Geno I think the best way to do the fur of the cat is to leave the main part of it the darkness you want without any major texture but just enough for it to flow and then at the edges you could really emphasis it so its clear that the rest of the cat has that kind of flow/fur to it. An example could be this image;

Edit: Another problem is that your trying to make it seem so realistic when the drawing of yourself is realistic but not realistic to the level that everything has its own unique texture to it.

I dunno if anime cats are the right base for this pseudo-realistic drawing.

I agree 100% but pseudo-realistic doesn't necessarily work for Geno when drawing cats as some of us have noticed so maybe crossing over the style yet leaving out the cartoony anatomy could work.

I'm sort of merging my realistic drawings, and my anime style drawings.

And hmm... Well, i'll fix the cat's proportions.
