Do NOT use YouTube's embed function in this thread. Large amounts of embedded videos on a single page slow most connections to a crawl. Please use external links instead.
The music in Beta is good, but sometimes we just want a bigger selection. Luckily, for those of us, Cleod put in a nifty little feature, apparently at the last minute. Press Ctrl+Shirt+M to toggle the game music on and off at any time. What a nice guy. This thread is for a quick reference for when you want to do that. Create your own personal list of songs and divide them by stages you would have them play on. Using extended versions is encouraged, but not necessary; remember that you can right-click on a video and select "Loop" for any short ones. I suggest doing that for any under eight minutes long. --- Different users' lists will be linked to below and added as lists are created, so you don't have to go hunting for yours: --- _________________    Last edited by Utah P. I've separated my own list to provide an example while keeping it separate from the OP so people don't confuse it with a universal list that must be followed or something. Make your own!
EDIT: Seriously, I'd like to stress this a little more: This is NOT your list. It's mine. You can look at it as an example, but by no means am I saying "you have to use/please use the songs here". That would be ridiculous. That also means if you think songs you post will be added here, you're mistaken. Please, make your own list! Dedede's theme for Dream Land and Castle Dracula for...um...Dracula's Castle. I'd also LOVE to see some sort of arrangement of this for Dracula's Castle as well
I also kinda miss Beat the Angel and the old Chaos Shrine theme, even though the new ones are worthy replacements And that's all I can think of for now, will add more later EDIT: Koopa's Road for Starship Mario, MGS4's theme for Shadow Moses Island, Flying Battery Zone for Sky Sanctuary and Melee's Castle Siege theme _________________

"And Thus, I Can Do It" for Tower of Salvation from original Tales of Symphonia I know Tower of Salvation already has two (very good) tracks, but I wouldn't mind hearing this on that stage "Abandoned Memories" for The Desk from original Chibi-Robo A little bit mellow compared to the rest of the Chibi Robo, but I personally think it fits? Shame I couldn't find any rock arranges or extended versions on Youtube Select File theme for Venus Lighthouse from original Golden Sun I know Venus Lighthouse already has main track and alt track, which I'm sure I will listen to like every day (Golden sun music, duh), but personally I think Select File OST somehow fits it even more. Dragon Ball Kai OP1 for Planet Namek IMHO the best Dragon ball opening and meme. What's not to love? "Battle Against the Masked Man" for Devil's Machine from Mother 3 I was going to suggest Giygas' unused theme from Mother 3, but it's not really that interesting. This one is. Either that or Master Porky's theme. Strong One for Saturn Valley. The one I've linked is a Smashified arrange, here's one of the versions from Mother 3 Poke Ride (Water) from Pokemon Sun/Moon and Sotopolis City from Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald as themes for Lake of Rage Space Junk Galaxy for Galaxy Tours/Mario Starship from original Super Mario Galaxy I wish I had knowledge on Super Mario Galaxy 2, but I just doubt it has just as good music as the original _________________  |

Whoops =p Fixed. Also, you don't have to follow my own personal list. My own list is there for me. In that case, I'm just not sure which version I like better. (The last incarnation of this thread tried using a global list where all users' suggestions were listed together, but that turned into a mess very quickly.)

First of all, Vs. Master Hand for FD. Cruel Smash is crap for this stage.
Original Remixes (sounding close to the videos) would be better than straight up following the music in the Links. (As long as it isn't a letdown like Mute City compared to Brawl's.) Casino Paradise from Sonic Advance for Casino Night Zone SHOWTIME! for Bowser's Castle. Bowser's/Koopa's Road for Do I Really Need To Say It? The original DKC title (With 8-bit startup) for Jungle Hijinx (Bramble Blast is too calm) Wario Land 4 theme (No vocals) for the only Wario Land stage: Emerald Cave. WarioWare Inc for that Made In Wario stage. Hyrule Field for Hyrule Castle. Off topic but it's ironic that SEGA makes the best Mario remixes.
