im late to see this but yeah it feels like what you drew was right, but the head should be up higher because the neck digs into his body sorta, not only that but his neck needs to be connected to his back more as well so it should be drawn at an angle im really bad at explaining things lol

Nah I get what you mean. I originally had more shoulder behind the neck but I accidentally coloured it in with black, leading to the current end result of not enough shoulder and a really weird long neck.

  I tried to make a character design for a fighting game; this is Grant who is a British croquet player. He fights using a plastic flamingo and croquet balls that he can place on the stage similair to Venom, but they don't levitate. He can then give 'em a wack. also scenery sketch
