After FINALLY getting my s*** together, I've decided to draw again.
I'll be drawing all 8 JoJos and slapping them on an image together with some nifty effects.
Here's the first JoJo, Jonathan.
Jonathan Joestar: show

The above isn't totally final, I'll be fiddling around with the shape of the face and the facial details more, it seriously doesn't look right to me. Although I'm actually really proud of how I drew the body, I think the anatomy is pretty good.
If someone has any advice when drawing the face, feel free to tell me because I am REALLY bad at faces.

I'm really glad you decided to draw again.

I think Jonathan looks really great. I like the face myself because it retains your personal style, rather than simply doing what Araki does. I would advise you to make the ears a bit longer tho, as the earlobe usually is in-line with the upper part of the cheek. You did the hands very well too!

I can't wait to see you draw the best JoJo; Gyro Zepelli

you actually like the face? that makes me happy to hear but something about it just feels off to me and i feel like i should change it

i'm not sure if i'll be drawing gyro but if i still feel like drawing after this, ill add it to my list of many characters i want to draw
(gyro is very cool, i like him a lot, best jobro)

Update! Added completed Jonathan Joestar drawing under "JoJo Squad", since I'll be drawing all 8 JoJos.

The OCs are almost as cute as you. I really like how you did the emotion/character dynamic.

awww thank you!!

i've been trying to improve my ability to add emotion to a character and make their poses flow better, so they dont look so static and boring, im glad its been paying off!!

HI another UPDATE HERE

Added a sketch of a near naked muscular dude for anatomy practice. I'm trying not to constantly draw sticks for characters all my life. After I can draw this body-type comfortably, I will be trying out a lot of other body types. Stay tuned!

I think it's coming along pretty great, you're hitting a really solid style here. The only advice I'd like to give you is to see if you can think of a way to make the back (his left) chest/upper arm/bicept area less flat. Maybe you can use shadows for that or so.

ohh yeah i was wondering what looked weird with that part, it does look very flat

i'll mess around with the drawing tomorrow to see if i can make a fixed version, there are a few things i wanted to touch up after feedback
