I think your design holds potentional to improve; several choices don't fit in well with your intentions. I understand that you're taking notes from that Noel Vermillion gal (?) from Blazbluh to capture a military feel, but the puffy-ish Princess Peach shoulders and the Zelda dress thing kind of contradict that by tapping more into a magical shoujouwhatever kind of design. Because of that it makes the eyepatch a bit hard to place.

Also anatomy wise I think the body may be a bit to long (like, arms do not reach down to the legs properly from what I can tell) but I'm not really an expert so you should decide about that yourself, really.
