I don't hate Ramsey. I think Ramsey (and by extension, Tid) are pretty cool. You were just dick riding. To extremes. You can congratulate people on their works, that doesn't mean you have to try and kiss their asses. Besides, you can't respect someone who kisses your a**, it just doesn't work. If you want respect from any of the devs, then doing what you're doing now is just out of the question.

I'm not kissing their butts. I'm just calling them awesome, because they are. I'm not trying to earn respect, I'm just complimenting the amazing people here. If I just wanted people to respect me, I'd just go bash everything on MG because that's all people ever do here. Ramsey, you are awesome. I'm not kissing up, I'm just stating a fact. Granted, his drawings of himself don't seem very accurate(assuming that his expansion character is), but who cares?! They're amazing! Like I said, I don't want respect (I mean, come on, this is the Internet, it's not like anybody will respect anybody) I'm just complimenting on his amazing work. Deal with it!

...;_; But well, there's decent complements with a bit of criticizing, and then there's "Yeah, you're so awesome, 1# person in existence, even better than God!" kind that's you're basically sounding like in that post M_o_y_d. Then again, there's also that Krillin insult, but I'm going way off-topic. Not much I could say that others did, doesn't look much like you at all.

In an attempt to re-rail my topic. EDIT: I made this in about 25 minutes. It started as a doodle, and it ended as a doodle. Not that proud of it, but I digress.

All right then. Ramsey, your drawings are good, but you suck because if you didn't, I'd be kissing your butt. Happy now? Is everyone happy?

Mustard, please just let it go. I want my topic free of arguments. You aren't wrong, they aren't wrong either. The only person who is wrong here is Krillin for being a four year old and starting this nonsense.

f*** you. Anywho, I actually enjoyed that last picture. Found it funny, and pretty nice looking. Considering that this is, once again, the version of you from your avi. Just out of curiosity, which is your 'main' or 'favourite' version of you? P.S Mustard, Geno being awesome is not a fact. You're f*** retarded.

Wait, I didn't get to say somethin'.
Mustard, shut up. Krillin's got a point, even if his s*** sucks. When you ride a dick in my presence, it better not be a dick that I favor. In this case, saying Geno's "an amazing artist" is an insult to him. He's not an amazing artist and he knows that. You can't be the best when you're still learning and practicing. Keep it in your pants, now. I'm sure he'd prefer some helpful advice rather than nonsensical horn tooting, but it appears you're only capable of the latter. Therefore, I'd like to bring attention back to my original statement. Mustard, shut up.
Hey Geno, that's some angry Ramsey face you got there. Seems like it's a bit squished, though. If you were trying to display a downward perspective, something went awry. Hm... can't really say how to actually accomplish the proper view, but... hell, I'm sure you'll figure it out. Trial and error's all I can say.

Bro, honestly. Thank you very much. Well I don't have a particular favorite, but the one I draw the most often is Ramsey (MG). I feel the need to explain myself, as far as the versions go, so I believe I will. I have three versions of myself that I draw. There's Geno (MG), Ramsey (MG) and Ramsey (IRL). Geno (MG) is the version from the Geno Adventure Series. He sports a "MG Uniform", and light blue features, such as shoes and eyes. He also wears a brightly colored wristbands on both wrists, and has glasses. Ramsey (MG) is the version that you see most of the time, who is also in my signature and avatar. I draw him the most often due to preference. He doesn't look that much like me. He wears my favorite outfit (white color long sleeve button up, rolled up at the sleeves, purple sweater vest, black shorts, black socks, and purple shoes [black in the sprite]). His hair is longer than mine, and has blue eyes, also something that I don't have. Ramsey (IRL) is the, as stated, "in real life" version of me. I like to draw him in a different style than my regular. You all say he doesn't look like me, because you're used to the previous two versions that I draw all of the time. It still doesn't even look exactly like me, but it's the closest I ever draw to myself. There are only very minor changes. I hope that sheds a bit of light on the situation. I enjoy splitting the character because there are many aspects of myself that are simply easier to illustrate by splitting it into different characters. Geno (MG) is typically the more shy and quiet type, and Ramsey (MG) is easily angered, and the like. If you have any more questions regarding that I wouldn't mind answering. Again, don't drag this on any longer. Either take it to a PM or I'll have a mod answer. | | | | Blue wrote: Wait, I didn't get to say somethin'.

Ugh, such truth. Still though, it seems like nobody on this forum other than you is capable of such a thing. All I really got was that it... 'doesn't look like me'. Not one comment about how to fix the drawing itself. Frustrating.Yeah, I was trying downward perspective. Hm, I'll practice that a bit more, then. Thanks. I'm having a lot of issues coloring as well. Can you show me what to improve on as far as that goes? I already realize skin being an issue, so I'll practice that a bit more as well.

Well, I'm not the greatest colorist, but I do know a thing or two. Now, it seems you've noticed how shading works, but haven't fully mastered it, yet. Decide where the light source is and go from there. For example, in your most recent picture, it appears the light is coming from below. That means the hair top his head shouldn't be as brightly lit. That doesn't mean it has to be an extremely dark picture, you just have to create an anchor point to go from. Aside from that, I saw you basically choose one color for each portion and go from there. You see, shades are great, but you can only get so much from one color. Try to choose multiple colors (dark, light, slightly different) to incorporate into each piece. This can help define features that aren't necessarily going to show up with lineart. Here, take a look at this excellent tutorial. I'm sure it can explain things better than me. You're definitely going to need to learn everything you can about Photoshop to take advantage of its brushes. There you go.
