It was inspired by Alice: Madness Returns and the Adams Family actually. I made that drawing for a project we did for school; we made a choose-your-own adventure for Alice in Wonderland where the choices presented themselves as interpretations of events and characters in the book. The style of the characters would change accordingly. The image in question dealt with the interpretations of society being mad and dark. I like that your art has a distinct western feel to it (even in the stuff that is mostly anime style), a lot of people get too caught up in anime tropes and design patterns, which isn't bad, but it's nice to see some wackly cartoons!
