What is your all-time favorite work of art?

My favorite is The Garden of Earthly Delights by Hieronymus Bosch. There is just so much going on, and it has characteristics of the much later Surrealism movement with Rene Magritte and Salvador Dali that I am quite fond of.

Tough question. My personal favorite might be Un Dimanche a la Grande Jatte, by Georges Seurat. Pointillism is such a lost art. It took him so much time and effort to finish the piece. Understandably so, considering the whole painting is created with dots.

I absolutely love this painting as well. I especially like the texture of the trees with the Pointillist style. |

I suppose any art would do! Musical art would probably be better in the Music subforum, but other forms of art can apply to this topic. |

jacques david's painting 'the death of marat' has been a favorite painting of mine ever since i was in elementary school
other than that i like paintings with dark colours and themes, theyre pretty swell _________________
