Lol that anime section.

Everyone should have an anime expression in my educated (I'm a professor of Animeology) opinion. And thanks for continueing to view this topic and my work. I know someone who's gonna make it on my 'favourite MG'ers' list in next years census.

Is that round - effect you made in the sky on purpose? If so than that's really nice how you pay so much attention to little things in your art.

That to me shows that you're a very talented artist.
Another thing I liked about this was the outline around the characters, really adds to the spectral effect!
Look! , they seem to be riding a crescent (moon) across a body of water.

.. that's odd... yet somehow I find that... rather interesting.

The round shape is indeed on purpose. I was expirementing with some new stuff for this one, including the glow around the characters. I originally had a reflection in the water and glow between the sky and sea as well but I found them too distracting. Also really cool was the way light affected the picture; since the paper was rounded a bit there was a particular strip of light affecting the paper, making it look like as if a moonray or some was shining down on Marks&Spencer, I played a bit with this. I actually took 6 pictures of the drawing lol

Actually, I used the same fineliner as I did when I coloured the night sky in the Marks-on-a-rooftop drawing, and it's still not empty. It's a true trooper, that little fineliner is.



I don't know anime but I assume that that's a cool thing.

The song was originally sang by Frank Sinatra (not sure if he wrote it) and then covered for the anime so yeah

Love how every character is quite odd in your drawings, I'd advise making more humans in the cast though, if you haven't. You wouldn't want the whole cast be a bunch of animals and inanimate objects. Just a little recommendation, you don't have to do it though. Just thinking more humans would appeal to our sense of '' worth '', thus persuading people to look into it more.

Just think, what's more interesting, a bunch of humans fighting or a bunch of frogs fighting?

Though you are indeed correct in that most of the cast is currently either monster or plain weird, with Alice being the only real bona fide human. I guess the lack of a normal male human kind of makes the thing lack diversity. The thing I'm working on right now though is to work on more female characters since Alice is the only one right now.

I do have male humans planned as characters but so far most of the characters I've been working on are the inhuman ones since they are more interesting.

EDIT: Do Vampires count as normal and/or sub-humans actually?

Vampires would probably go with the Animal/Inanimate object/ outlandish creature group since they still are a fuse of a bat and a human.
Wolf man and others aswell as combinations of animals/creatures.

Also I see your point there on the frog story thing, I guess I was wrong, you can make something epic out of non - human things.

The basic outline of Ghost Gumshoes is that the spooky sleuths have settled in a town called New Limbo, which serves as a sort of prison/containement land for former criminals, disenfranchised, the poor, the disabled and a handfull that went to New Limbo by choice. Most of these were simply the more inhuman inhabitants of other countries which more or less explains why there aren't as many normal humans.



And the team loves you!


Here are tw new characters I've been playing around with, the Scarecrow and Dorothy. I love scarecrows. Anyway, Scarecrow used to be the ruler of the Emerald City, but after a coup d'État by the Wicked Witch he has exiled himself to New Limbo, where Dorothy choose to follow him.


he ended up looking a tad bit like Shaske I guess, huh

Im trying to understand why the scarcrow has shading on his whole arm when infact its not completely covered by his jacket.
