STORY

Many decades after the Events of the sleeping locusts, The forest reshaped it self and new boundaries where made. The people split into two villages and lost it's tales of Levant, the Calmer of monsters. The villages, Deran, which was a farming town, and Pulchu, an industry city, lived in peace for a time, but then the people of Deran began to fall into sleeping comas. Pulchu separated itself, but soon came under much the same sickness. Both villages are losing hope, but you have received a mysterious note calling you to the Larva forest, saying your the only hope for the people of your town.

EDIT: Gah. Wasn’t thinking. Generally, minions are supposed to resemble bugs, I just remembered. Flick DOES have a stinger of sorts, but I’m not sure that will pass. Still, I’ll leave it up to see if you do accept it despite that setback.

EDIT 2: An even bigger gah! I just remembered that humans only gain EXP by capturing minions! This could be a problem for Emma. I’d suggest that we make it so she gains EXP by combat instead, but I don’t want you to flip the entire system just to accomidate this character. I’ll sleep on how to fix this problem, as it is close to bedtime (which is probably why I made these rather silly mistakes in the first place). Or if you have a suggestion, I will listen. Anyway, time for me to go to bed… before I do any more damage.

Actually its my bad, exp in this is split. You gain combat exp for defeating wild minions, while gaining training exp for capture. Flick is fine, but you'll need some story behind him. You see people have lost their old ways of capturing minions. Minions have the same stats as a human, and since Flick will most likely be your only minion eight points are to be added. Also Flick will have a minion tail attack, do you want add earth, add defense, or add poison.

OoC: yeah minion's damage is (min dam=their off)-(Max damage=their offx2) until I think of something better.

A minion body attack, horn, fang, claw, foot, or tail, does damage like a normal attack+mag skill in magic damage(only weaknesses apply).

So if... Draco...

Attacks he does 2-4 damage (off 2)
If he uses his fang attack it does 2-4 damage plus 2 normal magic damage(off 2 mag 2) cost 5 mana (5 for magic bonus)
If he uses his fire claw attack it does 2-4 damage plus 2 fire damage (off 2 mag 2) cost 10 mana (5 for magic bonus, 5 for fire element)
If he uses his poison tail attack it does 2-4 damage plus 2 normal magic damage, a 75% of poison or a 50% if the enemy can use a poison attack(off 2 mag 2) cost 15 mana (5 for magic bonus, 10 for status effect)

Poison does damage=to the poisoner's level, and last for as long as their atk skill.

Something to this effect, as I had to think this up fast.

OoC: Yes, but most minions don't have the ability to gain more, note this is slightly twisting the rules but not honorably maiming them as I already had minions that had this.

OOc: But humans do, right.

Humans gain spells and abilities through special means such as finding a spellbook or such. They do not gain minion body attacks.

Alright the task at hand: Find a way to get into the larva forest. You need a special key.

Emma is in her backyard, doing her regular self-training. Her house is somewhat secluded, and people very rarely come there. She herself rarely leaves the area, and usually only to do necessary tasks.

As she trains, Emma sees Flick out of the corner of her eye. He is carrying something in his mouth: a letter. “Huh?” she asks, confused. Mail to her is just as rare as visitors. “Who could this be?”

Flick puts the letter down and opens up the envelope, using his tail as a letter opener. Emma picks up the letter and reads it over quickly. The she reads it over again, slower, not believing what she had seen during the first read-over. She hands the letter to Flick. “Take a look at this.”

Flick reads over the letter, and looks up at Emma. Emma can tell fairly well what Flick is thinking by his expression, because of the bond they share, and how they spend almost all their time together. Flick seems just as confused as Emma..

“But… why would they pick me? I can’t even catch a minion by myself,” Emma says, “There’s nothing special about me.”

Flick looks up at Emma sternly.

“You’re right. I can’t let myself believe that. If I’m the town’s only hope, I need to believe in myself,” Emma says, “But… how will I get in?”

Flick looks down the path that leads to the main section of town.

“Yeah, I guess it wouldn’t hurt to ask around. I don’t know much about this key I need,” Emma says. She sheathes her dagger and heads into the main section with Flick.
