If you need to join Standard RPers or be in Pro RPers or whatever to post in the RP section and Standard RPers is freely open, why not just get rid of the Standard RPers group and make it so anyone can post in it?

I would assume that less literate fanboys would swarm in if this were to happen, I think rping should stay to the savvy kind.

It's also a control, for preventing spam from getting into the forum, and handy at keeping out bots. Really only those who actually intend to RP will make the effort to request to join the group.
