I think its fast, just not as fast as Sonic Unleashed, and since I haven't played Sonic unleashed, I should be ok, right?

What kills your speed is the fact that the controls suck and that waves of retarded enemies are in your way.
Plus those really bad design flaws (spikes just randomly infront of you, or walls stopping you)
are prominent.

Nomatter how good it looks at first, gameplay is what matters.

I think somebody should hack this game and decrease the enemy population... That would atleast be one flaw gone.
(That being said, easier said than done.)

dont get the game if you have bad reflexes. the stages arnt bad, it just takes timing and skill. and if your good enough, you'll be able to cut through the enemies without losing speed. its simple, ign(or the person who reviewed it) sucks at the game, so they think it suck. and of course its not as fast as unleashed, unleashed was based on just speed. and if anyone didnt notice, unleashed (and maybe secret rings) is(are) the ONLY sonic game(s) based on just speed. Sonic games from 1 up barely had any straight paths, it was always jumping high on springs, catching moving paths(and wait on them), jumping on enemies, and running on loops. nothings really changed. they have always been regular platform games with wierd physics and extra speed.

Wow it's funny cause this reminds me of the SU 360/PS3 review where the reviewer sucked at the game and gave it a bad score. Go back and watch both reviews then play the games. He jumped over springs and fell into ditches all the time. Also the enemy count isn't nearly as high as they make it sound and it does have vertical and horizontal slashes which leads me to another trait of both reviews. They both have lying which I consider unacceptable in a review. They over nit-pick every little thing to make it seem like it's the world's opinion and that it's terrible no matter who plays it. It makes me sick.

lol. When I first watched that video, my sound wasn't working so I didn't hear the commentary. If you don't hear his whiny comments, the game looks really good and you realize how the video doesn't really support his comments.

That was the DAYTIME mode. The nighttime mode was definitely not ALL speed however yes the daytime mode was like nonstop speed.

Not really. The campaign is a decent length. There are leaderboards for levels so you can compete and improve your speed on levels. There's also extra levels, items and and a battle mode which contains 5 types of play. Also I just got the game and played a while. I can say for sure that it's good.

just spent some time on YouTube and I'm convinced more than ever that this game is good. I really like how they incorporated chaos control into Shadow's gameplay. It's clear that while it may seem slow if you suck, the better you are, the faster you'll go. I can hardly wait until I can get it!
