Why is common sense so rare?

Common sense has not become less common, it's become less sensible.

Most people with common sense don't talk to people who don't have it.
It's boring and frustrating.
A lot of people don't have it, so people with common sense don't ever meet anyone with common sense.
Common sense then dictates that almost no one has it; certainly no one you'll ever meet.
Therefore, people with common sense generally don't talk with other people.
This propagates a vicious cycle of people with common sense becoming more and more reclusive, meaning you'll hardly ever meet anyone with common sense and hold a decent conversation, because they'll assume you don't have it.



So, common sense IS common, we just don't see it.

why is 'abreviation' such a long word?

Thats just the way english works.
Besides the word that is wanted short is not the word 'abreviation' itself but the abreviation of whatever it is that your taking about. The word 'abreviation' is simply the english word used to describe the shortened or made brief version of whatever word was abreviated. Hope that made sense.

if Ted is given the task of fittig a horse in a Kia 600(wich is a car)
and Ned is given the job of fitting 600 horses in a kia
but Ted dies 3 seconds after the task is give to him
