You're one of the rare cases where you have a connection that won't work with FTMFP (P2P aka low latency) so you'll have to use high latency due to your Internet provider being dumb. High latency doesn't work very well so you might not be able to play with this demo.

This happened when I was playing online and I couldn't get a replay because it ended up freezing.

I was playing as Pikachu and I did a Thunder Jolt. Afterwards, a whole mess of Thunder Jolts came out of him without me doing anything. Throwing myself off the stage didn't do anything; it actually made it worse as my Pikachu became invisible and when I was far away enough from my opponent, the camera completely focused on him, leaving me on the other side with a "out of stage bubble" around my Pikachu.



If it helps, here are some details:

-I was fighting on Tower of Salvation
-My opponent was a Donkey Kong
-4 Stock, no items
-I used low latency
-I hosted the room

Bug: Instant multiplayer desync using Fox
Difficulty to repeat: Very Easy
Times repeated: 5

Steps to repeat:

1. Using online mode on low, (possibly high) Latency, pick Fox. Choose any stage, though I've noticed it always works on N64 Dreamland.
2. Spam Fox's laser during the countdown before the match starts. You can stockpile frozen lasers in the 3 seconds before "Go!" as well.
3. ???
4. Desync.

Constant Side Effects:

1. The match will instantly desync due to Fox's lasers causing his movement to stall and inflict client-sided damage to the opponent. They won't see you shooting lasers.
2. Fox will be "auto-shooting" lasers constantly throughout the entirety of the match though he won't actually be using his gun. The lasers will be constantly spawning and "shooting from Fox" though they will not be making any noise. However, they do normal damage on opponents and their shields.
3. Though the laser shooting doesn't show Fox shooting his gun, it will still "cancel" any special moves he does with his normal stance. This allows him to shoot double the amount of lasers in the normal amount of time due to him standing. It also prevents him from using his recovery since it gets interrupted with the glitch lasers.
4. Replays do not capture the glitch. It shows the Fox looking like an idiot and getting wrecked from the other player.

Rare Side Effects:
1. Client-sided infinite stocks for Fox.
2. Invisible damage counter for Fox.
3. Camera-bugs. It zoomed into the other player and it locked that way.
4. Fox turned invisible permanently during a match. They could still see me, I believe.

^ That is very similar to my Fox glitch. I hosted as well. Did you do something at the beginning of the match?

I think you helped me discover the bug! If you use a character's special before the countdown finishes, it will desync. I wonder how many characters this works with! This could easily be fixed by preventing special button input during the countdown. Thank you!

Just tried to online and Mario was leaking fireballs in the waiting room. Was pretty hilarious.

Paused the game, and it just kept happening.

'Twas the lucky one to freeze a match during a CPU Tails' final smash on the Wario Land stage.
-Trapdoors would show both closed and open sprites upon being open and would never close.
-The CPUs were frozen in place. Tails' marker disappeared from on screen. I was still able to freely explore the map.
-Most, if not all effect sprites such as Ichigo's standard special froze upon being used.

doesn't work. you're doing something in a match/during waiting room and it's messing up all matches until you reboot the entire game, and you need to figure out what that is. your entrance animation is being cancelled and i suspect that this is what happens when you don't stay still in waiting room.

If Black Mage uses it's DThrow on Hylian Skies right as it transforms, the character getting thrown can instantly get KO'd off the bottom through the stage. I have a replay if needed, but I'd rather not upload it because I don't really have much of a means to.

While testing, I also found that as a match on Hylian Skies goes on, every time it transitions the stage is flipped earlier in the animation. In an eight minute match, the stage flipped almost immediately after the animation started, as opposed to near the end which it happened at the beginning of the match.

I've also been having a problem with DK/Naruto's NSpecials rarely having the fully charged animation active, but pressing the special button again starts the charge over instead of unleashing it. It probably has something to do with either rolling or being hit out of the charge right as it is about to finish, but I've been unable to reproduce it and haven't taken a replay of it.
