I didn't think he was going to be maf killed if he was town, because the vast majority still somewhat suspected him being mafia even after the claim. It'd be silly for the mafia to pick off someone who is town, but the town thinks is mafia.

Well, even when I did that stuff, we still have Axel's claim that he roleblocked 135 day 1, making it impossible for him to get his claimed "guilty" on Lucina. The fact that Lucina turned out to be town strenghtens the theory that 135 just made up the result.
