Hi. My name is LegendaryMarth, but I am known by my Community name, Poetiquette.

Over the years I've been playing in the Community, I found it needed something more than just tournament after tournament, with nothing else really going for it.s
I figured that since we only had 1-2 Crews at the start of 2016, mainly being TSF and Bionic's Crew, I thought it would be fair to endeavor into making a Crew scene in SSF2...

And so it happened!!

With the creation of the Planet Waves Crew, people started noticing this. People started wanting to participate in Crews as well, so crews like Team Buster, Nair Shine Bair, and many others have sprung up over the year of 2017. So far that me and 2 other Crew leaders decided, it was time to make a overall Crew Community for SSF2. That is when we created Collusion: SSF2 Crew Battlegrounds!!!

This community was VERY responsive!! We have had many great moments here, from Crew Battles, to Tournaments, to Streams, and much more. Those were just to name a few of the awesome moments we had as a Community. After September however... we've seen to have had a declination of attendance and just overall activity, solely because of the attendance of our staff. I take 100% responsibility for this for in August, I got a new job that takes pretty much all of my time now. How do I salvage this? How do I get the Community we once had to the full glory it was once a few months ago?

I have... an IDEA!!!
My goal, is now to do something more out of the blue than the Community we created itself. This idea might revolutionize the way we view Crews for a long time.
I would like to put this on the table as a thing the ENTIRE Community can get on. The idea? Here it is.

I propose that we do CB's and Tournaments, on a SCHEDULED basis. Meaning, we plan out a years events for each month 3-4 months before the new year comes. I think in this way, our Community not only becomes more organized, but more willing to get engaged, and eventually produce more productivity and activity! These events COULD be FCR applicable, if the person who does them, DarkErmak, will allow this. I'm not saying that, we should totally ditch 1 hit wonder tours and crews, and things that are fun like that. I'm thinking that if we organized a community thing like this, we could go far with this Community, and further beyond. Food for thought.

I hate marth mains, but this is truly a great idea from a marth main that doesn't just grab, throw offstage and downair.

How are tournaments for this game even possible with such insane MS between most players? 130-300 ms tournament, you can't even say those two things in the same sentence with out laughing.

I can't see FCR ranking the tournaments working.

Get people who multi-crew to stick to one crew, because you could farm FCR points just by virtue of being in a couple of crews

You are so right. There should be a 1-2 crew join cap if we're going to do rankings. 1 is official, 1 is not. Good idea.
