"This day is rather curious." Nechis said to himself as he wandered through the hills. He felt his stomach rumble. "There hasn't been any food today yet..." he said. "There was that bear, but most of it would have gone to waste." he continued talking to himself, and completely forgot about the group he had seen.


He overheard something from his right side.
"Maybe he can help this pathetic child become healthy again..."
He turned his head slowly to see beyond a small wooded area lay the group. "Who are they? Who is this child?" he whispered to himself, not wishing to betray his presence. He leaned against a large tree, and began to eavesdrop on the group's conversations.

"I will probably come with you." Rana assured Tania. He turned to see the boy sobbing Tana's feet. "That boy... intrigues me." Rana pushed a strand of his white grey hair from his eyes and met Tania's eyes. "Do you know who that warrior was?"

Tania smiled once he agreed to stay with them "That's great" she said cheerfully. "Do you know who that warrior was?" She shook her head "No I have no idea" Something about his grave tone perhaps made her think that probably he did "Do you perhaps know who the warrior is?"

The boy lay on the ground crying to himself. He was broken for the moment. He felt so pathetic. She wouldn't end him, because of his state.

"Why...." He said alloud to Tara. "Why...do you do this.."

Eton got up, having just realized something had happened. He stood from a distance and watched.

"There is nothing to be gained from striking down a broken foe" She stated while walking away, voice firm, making her way back to where she had sat prior, she wanting no more of the poor boy, he had the markings of a black horizon yes, but certainly not the vile intent.

He knew this, but it felt so foreign to him. He had trouble grasping his mind around it. Even so he just sat there on his knees.

Eton walked right poast Tara and to the boy. The boy looked up at Eton.

"Strike me down." He asked.

"I won't.....It doesn't matter....your still just a boy...." Eton replied. "You look about my sister's age."

The boy was silent and then looked down at the ground.

"I killed your family. I was the member who did it, slew them all....right in....front of you." He stated firmly, coldly, sorrowfully. Eton's eyes widened, this was the one who took everything from him....someone so young....did that. Eton gripped his dagger tightly as began to shake as his eyes widened.

"You.....you took everything from me." Eton said angrily. He had never told anyone of this, it was something too difficult for him to talk about casually. "I'll kill you!"

Serene looked at Eton holding the dagger at the boy but shrugged it off. She remembered what she had to be doing and decided for herself. "We need to move up on ahead, if we make it to the mountains, we can probably set up camp there..." she thought to herself. She looked at The boy again, and was strangely happy about him going to die.

Tania heard Eton's threat and left Rana to run over to his side "No Eton, its not worth it. Will you be any better than him?" She asked him gravely "He may have your family's blood on his hands, but do you want his blood on yours?"

Rana was starting to say something when Tania turned and ran for Eton. Rana turned and watched for a moment in silence, before walking slowly towards the group.

Eton looked over to Tania.

"He killed them all. My mother, father, sister, all in front of me, they killed my whole village too!If you want to stop me, you'll have to knock me out." He said to Tania in a fit of rage.

Why the hell doesn't Eton slit his throat already? Seriously, Eton needs to grow some balls and kill him already. ))

Eton "Do you really want to be like him? A merciless killer..besides he wants to die. Why would you let him get what he wants?"

"Do you know what it's like to see everyone you ever cared for die in front of you, even when they begged for mercy. They wern't even fighters, they were just common villagers. Killed for what..." Eton said approaching Tania in his anger. "It's because of him and his group i've had to deal with this and wander from place to place. Barely getting by. I want justice!"

Serene walked towards her Pegasus and mounted it. She wanted to scope out the area ahead of them to see how close they were to the mountains. "If I can get this done I might be able to move ahead without them, since we're not really getting anywhere right now." she said to herself "Besides, they probably don't care if I go off. It's not like I mattered to any of them."
