Ehh not really. Steamworld Dig is like all just randomly placed tiles and then entrances to completely manually made levels.

yo Tid I don't know if this is something you already thought about or not but
you could do a trial version instead of a usual demo so the only restriction is the time limit, not what's shown in the demo it'd serve the same purpose of letting people try out the game before buying it imo that's the best way to have a demo for an open world game |

I've considered before. Because the microchips you get are randomly picked I think the trial could be exploited to see every microchip if you just kept playing again and again. Maybe I could do it but only make a small selection of microchips available in the trial? There'd probably be other restrictions as well. It is a good idea and definitely worth considering.
