I was watching Naruto today... (and yes this is a Naruto fan-made RPG)
My friend and I are good fans of the show, and have created a battle system for it.
Simply put,
Ninja Rank: (Gennin, Chunnin, Jonin)
Ninja name:
Taijutsu: (Poor, Average, Strong)
Ninjutsu: (Same as above)
Genjutsu: (Ditto'd)
Tools: (Encore)
Jutsu: (Including Taijutsu skills, Ninjutsu, Genjutsu and ninja tool tricks...)
'Jutsu type (Ignore in Ninjutsu) : Jutsu element (Fire, thunder, earth, wind, water, shadow) - second element: Jutsu name'
Tools: Kunai, Shuriken, (Other tools here too.)
Jutsu explanation: "Shadow clone jutsu!" 'Shadow'= Jutsu element, 'clone jutsu' Jutsu name... Just incase you were confused...
Now for why I'm posting it here...
Have you ever created a jutsu you wanted to try but, due to the laws of physics, weren't able to do so. Here is the place you can do so... As well as mix in the normal jutsu you know and love...

Tools: Shuriken, Kunai, Flash-bomb, Explosive tag, Flame-blossom."
Atleast that's an example... I hope you guys can deciepher this, I'm not sure how to expand on this any more...

Hmm... Good point DH.
I think your refering to the example I put in... right?
Well, as you may have noticed I put in 'Kage-suiton' which means shadow-water style... So it's not actual water... ha ha.
Alright, the 'shadow damm' creates an invisable wall used to catch the shadow waters. Shadow flood waters creates a rising water table, and shadow rain is... self explanetory.
If that's not what your refering to then...
The point on this is to take turns using jutsu to either counter your opponents jutsu, or set things up for a better attack. Each jutsu will do little damage unless more time us put into summoning it, and you can attach status to jutsu as well.
This is pretty much just a jutsu and strategy tester.
Jutsu won't hit until after the defenders turn, which allows them to counter or dodge... But, clone, shadow clones and replacement jutsus have to be preset, i.e. before your opponant declares their attack. I hope that's all...

Cause I like shadow techniques... Taijutsu and ninja tools are techniques, but the other two are jutsu... Not every jutsu or techniques are shadow based, they're up to you.
