Finnally! A real (non-fanboy) Metal Gear movie!  The movie is scheduled to be released sometime in 2011 or 2012. The movie will be based on the 1998 video game Metal Gear Solid. Like the game, the movie will be shooting in Alaska. It is stated stated that Kurt Wimmer will be writing the script. It is also stated that Christian Bale would be playing the role of Solid Snake. But they are also considering David Hayter to play Solid Snake. I hope he gets the role!
