As someone who can do this Kirby Chain-Dthrow, but can't do Melee-Marth's Chain-Uthrow on Fox: that's not only false, that's goddamn denial. Marth's Uthrow is fast and needs immediate reaction to DI, Kirby's Dthrow gives you like a full second to register the confirm throw and follow the DI afterwards. Plus, Fox can't DI as far or in-between to mix-up the Kirby-player's reaction. The hell don't you guys know how use your own character...

that's the thing though. balance changes aren't just for people who know how to DI. having a beginner be able to dthrow dthrow dthrow someone easily who doesn't know how to DI isn't ok either

Tbh you should've increased the end lag (but not too much to the point where it can't combo) for down throw instead of changing the angle if the problem was easy reaction for chaingrabbing. It wouldve solved the problem and make chaingrabbing harder while not hindering Kirby too hard. Changing the angle would just make Kirby a much more horrible character than he already was.

9b naruto had an infinite Dthrow CG if you didn't SDI out of it. Here comes beta, same Dthrow CG, but you can't SDI out of it. tson b**** pls EDIT; kirby vs fox. kirby vs FOXwhat scrub plays f*** fox. Only try hards and wannabes play fox. Your argument is 100% invalid TSON. OML

Ill admit down throw was dumb but I wouldn't say it shouldn't be a thing since it was Kirby's only reliable way of getting combos and kill confirms.

After playing around with Kirby some more i found some 50/50 copy ability combos. Back throw to marth copy ability seems to combo at around 95% and can kill near the ledge. Back throw to charge shot could also be a good 50/50 kill confirm

i truly wish you guys would drop this "i know how to balance better than the devs, the devs are horrible at their job, any sucker could do it" thing you guys are trying to make happen just because you disagree with one or two changes. it's tired and not a thing and i take it very personally. beta naruto dthrow has no changes to SDI multiplier and actually has MORE hitlag on dthrow due to using the engine calculated formula, which actually means its easier to escape. plus, in low level play dthrow does not cg because you wont have fast enough reaction time to FF and read reaction. in high level play you have getup attack and roll mixups + standup + the ability to SDI. i can sit here and revoke any argument you guys come up with because the point of balancing is to run those scenarios. please dont sit here and try to come for me and let's discuss the current kirby meta instead of whining ceaselessly about the entire game's balance when as I said before there is a balance patch coming in a few days.
