Episode 17 and 18 are basically the same but everyone is wearing different clothes and slightly revised dialouge and camera angles. When will the madness stop?! Well, they've already shown a difference with the novel. In the novel, the loop ended at the 15,498th time, correct? Well in Haruhi 2, the next episode will be the 15,500th time. So who knows how long this could take...
