i really hate to be that guy but if you wanna see the best possible way to see what you'd wanna put onto your pokemon go onto smogon
at the least you should figure out what stats you want to train (just check EVs) |

So your saying if the defense is terrible it would be a good idea to boost that? That makes sense I guess. I've never EV trained my pokemon, it's hard not to though now that it is placed right in front of us.

on paper it might sound like a good idea but jolteon isn't really made to last
offense is the best defense in a lot of cases for pokemon. your opponent can't KO you if you keep KOing them first |

You should train defense if you think you need to
sometimes having low defense would be fine like if the pokemon is fast enough and has enough attack to take n**** down without being hit |

Jolteon has base 130 Speed and high Special Attack, so you should train those. Don't bother training for defense, because Jolteon is very frail, and you'll be wasting EVs. _________________
