After decades in the making, i have finally finished my BBM MU chart without consulting anyone like the degenerate I strive to be.
BBM's number goes first

Bad Matchups(0-35 ratios)
35-65 (although bbm has his absurd punish game on fox, the mu is still frustrating for bbm due to how easy it is to get gimped, fox's speed making it hard to get bombs down/gettting in, and the neutral being heavily in fox's favor.)

35-65 (haha f*** me)

35-65 (camping and getting killed at 60 makes for a mu you want to switch to anyone else for.)

Disadvantageous Matchups(40-45 ratios)
40-60 (rough neutral, both have an absurd punish game and edgeguard each other hard, bbm has a very hard time getting in though)

40-60 (dtilt)

45-55 (pretty unexplored, mostly going off kyoz's sets)

40-60 (f*** cancer but at least bombs are broken.)

40-60 (needle camp vs bomb pressure with bbm dying 50% earlier if the sheik isn't downs, but bombs are broken so w/e.)

40-60 (once marths learn how to play a neutral and edgeguard you'll see why this is in his favor.)

Even Matchups(50-50 ratios)

50-50 (possibly in bbm's favor, early bomb kills and easy edgeguards for both characters)

50-50 (no s***)

Everything Else(ask me to explain said MUs because most should be self-explanatory)

55-45 (both get punished easily when pulling out their respective bombs/boomarang/etc, bbm favored neutral/punish game)

These are mostly my incredibly biased opinion so feel free to question/argue/whatever and I'll give you a detailed explanation eventually.

Explanation for the Black Mage match up?

I don't particularly like it, but I think that's more of an issue with my own play style.

Is BBM-Fox really 65-35? I would think 60-40. BBM's semispikes are absurd, and BBM does have some tools in neutral (dtilt can actually go under nair, coming from above, bombs, smashes).

I can agree with the Sora/BBM matchup actually.

It's kinda depressing

The second I saw biased, I felt like something felt wrong when I saw the Zelda loses to BBM. Hey, I don't know anything about BBM, so you may shoot me, but it sounds like a matchup where BBM would get comboed to hell.

BM cant really sacrificing putting a wall because BBM would just back off and plant bombs which is never what you want especially when BM is already slow as he is. Additionally, BM's slow recovery makes it easy to get lots of bombs. Bm is just too slow to keep up with bbm's pressure.

The only semispike bbm has is bthrow which is decent enough if you and somehow find yourself getting a grab on fox near the edge. In terms of smashes there is no way fox is getting hit by one of them in neutral, they have a ton of startup/endlag and mostly have a lackluster payoff of hitting anyways. BBM's best bet are medium bombs, spacing fairs/bairs, and hope for hits.

I agree with everything said regarding the BlackMage matchup. Very good list! Will definitely save this and refer to it when I go to the lab with Bomberman

BBM for S tier or riot SwiftRage Nice good on this list, Joey. I hope ppl realize that BBM is underrated now.
Edit: I must've been high af writing this s*** now that I'm looking back at it.

What is the point if BBM can't position his bombs in such a way as to prevent a Samus from camping one of the safe zones? There is more than just the ability to place bombs to consider here.
