Didn't Sakurai say that they didn't add in Chrom because he'd be too similar to Ike? If that's the case I feel like he should be an alt for Ike instead. And since Ike already has a recolor based on him, it makes little sense to do that.

Sakurai said Chrom would be too similair to every other swordman in Smash in general, which is why we got Robin. They probbly didn't make Chrom an alt because they felt it would be cooler to include him in Robin's Final Smash.

Well then, I could have sworn he said Ike though, but whatever. I actually forgot that he appears in Robin's Final Smash.

Maybe because Viridi compares him to Ike in one of the Smash Taunts?
