I think for new users (not the forum), there would be a set of people in one group (probably some from the VIP lounge?) who would like to give a tour or take questions from people about the forums.
I could be the leader or whatever (or someone else, I don't care) and the person who wanted a tour can be talked about stuff around the forums.
Like technical stuff, Gizmos, Cookies etc.
The tour would be talked through PM. They can chat if they'd like to.
There could be another leader (who should be voted by doing a fantastic job)
The people who want a tour should ask through PM.
I have doubts this might work.

I wouldn't mind doing this. I actually prefer fresh kiddo newbies to some of the noobs at spam.

so basically were giving them a tour of the fourms and tell them not to be a noob? if it isn't as bad as it sounds.......... OAKY!

Vote for being another leader on the job. (If they're are doing well as tour members.) I was thinking choosing people who have been here before August 21st being members.

Well Erm... unless one member is being a total a****** to the person who was given the tour (which would be kicked off immediately)
Example: Person given tour. Then Member starts flaming him.
PERSON REPORTS TO ME (If I'm leader or other leader) I kick off member.
Easy as that.
Or Vice Versa
Example: Member gives tour. Then person starts flaming him.
member may report person to admin or mod.
I'm starting to put it together...

What would happen if the user wasn't flaming or doing anything wrong?
After all, there is no point in doing anything if it isn't for the lulz.
