If the SSB section can be reduced to three or four topics that are relevant and see some activity, then we don't need a separate section.

Anyway It doesn't need more moderation, i'm doing just fine. Most of the comments in this topic are flat BS. Ive been on top of the SSB section for a while now. I read every new post that comes in.

And its easy, because of the lack of activity.

Nobody said four topics. The spam topics, or the extra ones will just be deleted.

You know there's a poll. It seems people think it needs more moderation (not modification NU).

No offense, but if you've been on top of it, then why does it seem to be such a problem for most of the users here?

People think they can do it better, so they exaggerate the problems to put the other person in a worse light and make it seem that they would be qualified for the job.

Actually, I'll even dare the people here. If it's so bad, it shouldn't be hard to show me five examples of rule violations that went untreated.

I'm not so sure the problem is lack of treatment, but rather insufficient treatment. More bans or something.

It's not NU's fault, quit pointing fingers. There was a lot of factors that contributed to it being the way it is. I do think NU's a goodish mod & should be put on spriters corner or something. But the SSB section is nothing but trolls & people speculating about future/impossible crossovers/games, I don't blame him for missing a tiny bit of what's in there simply because there's so much lately. If someone goes and counts the recent posts in the section and makes a ratio out of them, rulebreaking or spam to contributing posts, it would be very uneven, & that's why I made this thread.

It does not need new moderation, it needs to go. You can crack down on them all that you want, but you're just making it more obvious how little people are interested in this 2 year old game that was fun for about a month.

The poll doesn't seem to be saying much, but as far as I can tell most of you think the section itself isn't doing too great. I may do another poll, but it's most likely I will be merging it with the Console gaming section under certain conditions

I still say we put the torch to it. I mean, it's just not worth all the headache. Give it a topic or two at most, and you've pretty much got everything you need about it. A whole subsection is still overkill.

We may as well just get rid of it. Someone can create their own SSB topic in Console Gaming. Having its own entire forum seems to cause nothing but warnings and bans. And they aren't worth it.
