Post There is something that needs to change around the RP board
Look guys, I'll put this lightly: There should be no more (or less) RPs that are based of anime/games/books, etc. ESPECIALLY THOSE MADE BY BAD RPERS, because those just suck even more.

Every time I enter the RP section and see an RP directly based of something at the top of the list, I die a little inside.
Why can't you guys be more creative instead of just making some crap RP that is just like an interactive fanfic?
Is creativity a precious mineral that we just can't mine for anymore because all the veins have disappeared? Is it that hard to use your mind and be creative more often?
RPs can be amazing adventures that challenge you to use your creativity, but instead we get this half-hearted rip-off of some franchise.

Can we get at least some love in for creativity? That's all I'm asking.

Hence why only two of my RPs have ever been based off something. Sure, inspiration is nice and all, BUT COMPLETELY RIPPING OFF A SERIES? Seriously, stop. It's not cool, it's not funny, it's half-assed and complete s***. Just stop.

I have a mine of originality, but it's closed to be public.

Nobody wants to RP in my creative RPs, must be because of relative level of literacy. Why is when I see the five most active RPs as based on something, I go back to plotting a coup d'état against the authorities.
