Mira noticed, while flipping, that she was getting closer towards the tree, she stuck out one hand and landed on her feet almost perfectly "Gotta keep moving" she told herself. She jumped and reached for one of the branches, she pulled herself up and reached up for another branch. "This is almost like the excersises mother made me do...they were always so brutal. Now I'm actually thankful she raised me with such rough training"

Leon jumped into the air and sliced down at a vine that seemed to be pondering Mira's moves. 'What the heck,' Leon thought to himself, 'I think that plant may be sentient.'

The vines head up the tree tearing bark off with out care.
Lift's vine stops up the tree and loosely falls towards Lift. Ooc: MIra is running up a tree to get a piece of metal we believe is causing the vines to attack us.
"You got to be kidding me!" Leon yelled angrily as the vines approached. He ran toward the tree, slicing at a few vines on the way. He jumped up the tree and on to the first branch above the vines at the time. "Mira, hurry up, there are way too many!" he called up the tree. "Lift! Over here, high-ground advantage!" Mira hears the shriek but doesn't look back "Just keep moving" she panted and continued to reach up for another branch, she was suddenly blinded by a glare of light, and almost fell, she climbed up another branch "That must be it" Mira climbed higher and noticed a smaller piece of wood sticking out of the tree. "This isn't natural" she moved to another branch and followed the shaft to its source there was a large ax deeply embedded into the tree. "So, that's why" She moved to another branch and grabbed onto the ax and pulled mightily, trying to remove the ax from the trunk. Finally it wiggled loose, she felt a surge of energy go through her as if she were being electrocuted, she fell from the tree.
