Also, the custom character won't have actual voice acting, but rather "emotion/expression", and you can choose a few voices.

Lastly, the red wolf is NOT the default character. The wolf was just an example of what you can do and is currently unnamed.
The real default character will probably be revealed at E3 (and it will probably be a hedgehog)

I think both Sonic Forces and Mania will be pretty good games. My only concern is the exact story for Forces.

so a couple of days ago i started playing Shadow the Hedgehog
considering all the negative stuff I've heard about the game, when i played i was surprised that... it was really fun

Like I legitimately enjoy a lot of things in this game.
Sure, the slippery controls are kinda awkward, but I got the hang of it quite quickly. It also helps Shadow immediately goes to a stop if he dashes into a cliff so half the time I barely suffered from these controls.

I also absolutely find the weapon system to be really well made. Yeah it's really dumb looking with all the "look sonic with guns!!!!!" but I absolutely think the weapons function really well, I was worried running out of ammo was gonna be a constant problem, but because you can simply steal guns from enemies you face through the entire stage, you can simply keep reloading by equipping the same type of gun you already have.

Yeah, the game is really flawed story wise, and i also wish the game didn't have a Last Story because I feel the game would have a lot more replay value if that were the case, but I honestly think the game is fun if when you like, mentally prepare how the experience is gonna be beforehand. I absolutely recommend it if you wanna have some fun.

That is actually how I feel about Shadow. I do wish that we could get a sequel fixing most of the originals mistakes. But I like shadow the Hedgehog

having to beat it like 10 times just to get to the last story was already a giant pain in the a**

i also enjoyed the game but i never want to play that first level ever again lol

I still haven't got to the point to absolutely dread Westopolis cause I'm only 2 endings but I absolutely hate already completing the kill X number of enemies missions
I really wish missions were laid out more like the gliph canyon ones with having to only turn on 5 cannons to complete the Dark Mission instead of killing like 35 enemies.

i like shadow the hedgehog a lot! it does have a lot of flaws and the fact that literally none of the plot matters/makes sense except for the last story/intro cutscene/one or two other cutscenes is pretty lame but it’s never stopped me from loving it. gunplay is good like u said, engine feels like heroes but faster and it takes a little time to get used to but it’s good. there are a few missions that are kind of unbearable but there’s always a way to get the route you want for that play through so it’s never been a big deal to me either. it could be better but i’d honestly still say it’s underrated. i play through it a couple times a year.
