OOC: Made a slight edit to Whim's abilities so that they can be explained a bit more reasonably (within a world where superheroes exist...)
The clone exited the mirror, a blank expression on her face as she stood upright from the position that Abigail had been caught in. On Bertok's command it walked towards the pinned super and raised its hands. Truly, the science behind his abilities was quite profound, a diverse array of psychokinetic powers activated through a mirror and a silicon automaton. The panels of metal from the wall behind the explosive super were ripped loose and floated in the air before they curved and clamped each of his limbs onto the wall. The super struggled against the metal restraints as small pieces of debris began to fall from the ceiling. Abi's magnetic pulses were only growing stronger as her worry intensified. Each wave of magnetic energy caused a stream of static to crackle in their ears and bolts were loosened around them.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Impressive as the stairs of earth were, the flying woman believed she was safe, for it was quite difficult an endeavour to climb the stairs while bombarded with powerful gusts of wind. Of course, there was also the tornado that they had to contend with, still set on its path directly for the group.

Natalie breathed a sigh of relief as Bertók pinned the super securely to the wall. She brought the salt back to her and returned it to her containers.
"Good work, Bert." She congratulated her comrade she admired his handiwork. The girl hadn't dreamed his mirror images would be able to imitate the powers of their subjects. Such an ability had loads of potential. Her celebration was cut short, however, as falling debris and shuddering metal reminded her that they weren't out of the woods yet.
With Explodeo immobilized, Natalie turned her attention again to the wonder siblings. Abigail still knelt on the ground, trying to rouse her brother, but oddly enough, both were surrounded by a shimmering aura. She approached the dome and gingerly laid her hand on it. Though it crackled with energy and was warm to the touch, it was definitely solid. Perplexed, the girl began pounding on the sphere, desperately trying to get the attention of its occupants.
"Hey, we need to get out of here now! This whole place is coming down!"

“My, what a gentleman.”
Tailin thanked Ramon with a quick curtsy. By now the girl had transitioned to full-on competition mentality, the mercenaries outside nonexistent in her mind. In that moment, she cared about one thing and one thing only: victory over the opponent that had dared issue a challenge to the world’s finest team of superheroes. As she raised her head, her eyes locked with Mike’s for a brief moment. “Last one to the top gets to clean Hurricane Jane’s guts off my suit.” Then she was gone.
Of course, Tailin had failed to anticipate just how difficult it would be to climb Ramon’s makeshift staircase with a tornado a mere ten meters distant. Through dogged determination she managed to claw herself a third of the way up, but by that point the winds had become so intense that even she was forced to admit that she could go no further. Frustration rising, she looked around in desperation for an idea, yet her eyes offered only sand, sand, the sky, Ramon and… more sand. And in that moment Tailin concocted what was to be either the most brilliant or the most terrible idea that she had ever had.
As quickly as she could, Tailin began stuffing handfuls of sand into the pockets and sleeves of her Pantheon uniform. The thought that she was going to regret this regardless of whether her idea worked or not flashed briefly through her mind, though it was quickly swept aside by the much stronger voice that was telling her to do whatever it took to win. Once she was satisfied with the amount of sand in her suit, she braced herself to deliver an enormous amount of force directly to the staircase. If the angle of her punch was correct, the blow would translate into a directed explosion of sand, aimed in the general vicinity of her airborne foe. The goal was not necessarily to deal a harmful strike - no, the wind would render such a tactic next to useless - instead, Tailin aimed to blind her enemy in order to enact the second phase of her plan. With nary a moment’s hesitation, she leapt from what remained of the staircase into the cloud of dust that she had created, shouting into her communicator as loudly as she could to be heard above the wind. “Richter! I’ve stuffed my suit with sand. I need to fly!” The rest was in his hands.

"I got your back, crazy girl!"
Ramon embedded the sand into Tailin's suit giving her the ability to float in the air. Although it seemed like she was able to fly, most of the control still belonged to Ritcher. If they wanted to pull off this whole flying act they were about to go through, he'd have to run alongside her and direct most of her movements. Although, there was still the threat of the tornado bearing down on them. He waved his hand forward moving his teammate in the same direction, to her it'd feel as though a gust of wind had come from nowhere. Now that Tailin was able to fly, the rest of the fight was mostly up to her.

Without much thought, Bertók immediately held his mirror as best as he could and made his way back from where he had come.
"Let's hurry out before we're crushed by this place!" he called out the Natalie. "The others are behind a forcefield and can survive the bunker collapsing, there's no point in waiting for them, it'll kill us."
The thing that disgusted him was the selfishness of the boy, choosing to only extend the field around himself and Abigail while they were left outside to deal with not only the mutant, but also the task of escaping from the collapsing bunker. He had risked his life to save others and he was the one being thrown to the dogs. There was nothing more disheartening to his participation in the team than this betrayal.

Natalie's pounding on the force field reminded Austin that there were others besides Abigail and himself. He shot upright, probably scaring the hell out of Abigail. He grabbed his sister and put her back on her feet. Immediately afterwards he accessed his map and saw the escape route. "Sorry, something blew my mind for a minute there." Austin looked at Abi. "As soon as we leave this place, you need to collapse it, unless someone has time to slit that terrorist's throat before retreating. Now we can finally get out of here!"

OOC: (( I decided to take control of Ramon very briefly in order to move things along.))
It was working. Giddy with excitement, Tailin reveled in the brief moment of weightlessness that occurred when Ramon took control of her suit. Even though she was in reality being dragged by the seat of her pants, the skin-tight nature of the outfit made the experience not only tolerable, but downright fun. She issued one last command as she flew forward: “Yes! Now bring me down behind the cloud and then up behind her. When I reach her level, keep my right foot in the air, but give me back control of everything else. I’m going to end this in one go.”
Ramon executed masterfully, as though he were a painter running his brush on a canvas in a single, sweeping stroke. As Tailin reached the apex of her trajectory, she used her still-floating right foot as the pivot point to execute a roundhouse kick aimed directly at the opposing super’s lower spine. Though her regular force output was greatly diminished due to her instability, the released kinetic energy would deal more than enough damage. If she succeeded, the lady would be paralyzed from the waist-down for the rest of her life. And hopefully, just hopefully, with its owner incapacitated, the tornado that threatened to tear the military complex apart would dissipate as well.

OOC: Very ingenious flying >.> Wouldn't have thought of that.
Abigail gasped as her brother suddenly opened his eyes and pulled her up. She wasn't entirely sure what had happened, neither was she aware that a forcefield had been projected around them, and that her own powers had greatly warped the metallic structural integrity of the base. That is, until she heard the loud groaning of metal above and around them. The super who had threatened them now seemed to be incapacitated as he struggled against metal bonds that tied him to the wall. She knew for sure that wasn't her work. The other two, Natlie and Bertok, were already making their way to the exit. "I repeat! Agents Mind Buster, Magnesia, Miroirs, and Saline, vacate the premises immediately! The structural integrity of the compound has been compromised!" Mercury's voice crackled through their intercoms as the magnetic interference no longer hindered the group from receiving information. Regaining her composure, Abi and Austin quickly caught up to the others as they headed to the third floor.
"Olympus, this is Magnesia" she said as they ran down the hall together "Message received. Copy. We are now on our way out. Mind Buster and I will protect the others to ensure that we all make it out of here alive. Over."
"Magnesia!" exclaimed Mercury elatedly "What the heck is going on down there?! Mind Buster's vitals were going crazy for a few minutes! We were also experiencing heavy magnetic interference!"
"We're fine, I think" she replied, though just as she spoke the entire floor in front of them began to came in as the structure beneath it gave way. Thrusting both of her hands in front of her she created a crude bridge of metal to allow the others across before she crossed over herself and allowing the plates to fall into the pit. "I am requesting a medical examination for Mind Buster upon our return to Olympus."
"Roger. Get home safely."
"Over and out," she replied as they walked onto the second floor. There they saw Prince Mohammad where Tailin had left him. He had his arms over his head and sat in a crouch as debris fell about him. Nevertheless, he was not going to go up to the entrance, from which he heard a great deal of quaking earth and gale-force winds. His options were quite limited in the matter. His eyes lit up as he saw Saline and Bertok approach, both of them being his recognizable saviours. He did not know Magnesia or Mind Buster, but he only assumed that they had been called upon to rescue him as well. Once again, his hope of making out of there alive had been reignited.
"Your majesty, we're going to get you out of here" assured Abi as she crouched beside the prince and put a hand on his shoulder. The sounds coming from the upper level were enough to let them know that there was a fight going on, but staying in the groaning bunker was not an option.
"Alright" she said while standing up "We're going to go up to the entrance, but we must ensure the prince's safety. MB, you're in charge of projecting a forcefield around the prince at all times. Miroirs, you'll be on support for MB. Saline, you'll support the Shenanigan, Richter, and Apiceus; I believe they're dealing with another super. Meanwhile, I'll call Olympus for our pickup. Got it, everyone? Ok! Move out!" She ran up the stairs, leading the group, followed by Saline, then MB and the prince and lastly the rear covered by Miroirs.
Immediately they were blinded by the desert sun, their eyes having grown accustomed to the fluorescent lights within the base. The doors had been pulled off of their hinges, most likely the work of Apiceus. As their eyes adjusted they saw a large tornado of sand bearing towards them, a giant staircase made of earth and stone, Richter moving his hands as he focused them in the air, and Shenanigan, somehow flying towards a woman who appeared to be distracted as sand blew into her face.
The terrorists who had been waiting for such an opportune moment began to approach Richter, though staying away from the tornado, and trained their weapons on the young man, preparing to shoot. Meanwhile Tailin's clever sneak attack was thwarted as she was thrown backwards by a powerful blast of wind. The woman, her eyes still sore from the sand thrown into her face, had released a wave of air defensively around herself as she tried to remove the sand. The entire team on the ground was hit by the gritty sand.
"Pantheon, move out!" called out Magnesia.

OOC: Went overboard sorry.
Natalie cursed under her breath as she and the others made their way through the corridors of the bunker. She had hardly had time to process what had transpired below, so Austin's actions were lost on her. Prevalent in her mind was the regret that they hadn't had time to properly restrain and Explodeo and capture him. There was a good chance he had valuable knowledge about the new supers that had been cropping up, and more pressingly, he seemed far too tenacious to be done in by something as mundane as a collapsing building. The girl wouldn't be the least bit surprised if they ended up meeting him again. She and her teammates, on the other hand, were likely far more vulnerable to things like falling metal and the laws of physics, so turning back to get him wasn't an option.
Before long, the group reached the upper levels of the compound and encountered the prince, who Natalie acknowledged with a slight nod. She wondered why Tailin had left him behind, but the sounds of conflict from above answered her question before she could voice it. Abigail was the first to respond, issuing orders with the swiftness and conviction, if not the strategic know-how, of a military general. Though it pained her to think of throwing herself in harm's way again on top of everything else she'd done, she couldn't bring herself to protest.
As they stepped out of the compound, Natalie shielded her eyes as they adjusted to the harsh desert sun, then immediately wished they hadn't. The scene before her was straight out of a comic book. Frankly, it was all more than the poor girl's mind could comprehend. For the nth time that day, she found herself completely and utterly at a loss. This was her life now. From here on out, the unbelievable was the norm, the outrageous mundane. If Natalie wanted to survive, she would have to embrace the absurd and learn to cope with the inexplicable, something she wasn't entirely sure she was prepared for. Nevertheless, she had to try. This situation was too large to tackle head on, so the best way to approach it would be to break it into manageable parts. She was sure that if she took things one step at a time, everything would turn out fi-
A wave of sand washed over the entire group. Abigail immediately rebounded, calling everyone to action with a rallying cry. Natalie, on the other hand, grasped her face in pain. A chunk of sand had struck her dead in the eye. When she brought her hands down, it was red and pulsating. She blinked and rubbed furiously, trying to expel any lingering grains, but the irritation only increased. Tears forming in the corner of her affected eye, the girl's anger hit a boiling point, culminating in an enraged scream that was drowned out by the howling winds. She didn't care; she simply searched for the nearest target to vent her frustration. Through blurry eyes, she spotted a few enemy mercenaries closing in on Ramon, who seemed oblivious to their presence. They would have to do.
Natalie leapt between the soldiers and her comrade as they leveled their guns on him. As they prepared to fire, the girl could feel something from them. That could only mean that they had salt on their persons. She tried to control it and use it against them, but she couldn't manipulate it, probably because there wasn't enough of it. She quickly fell back to familiar tactics, bringing out her own stock as the enemies opened fire. Since the salt was too brittle to withstand gunfire, the girl created a conical barrier, relying on the slope of the shield to deflect bullets rather than block them. Not ideal, but she managed to keep herself and Ramon unscathed. When the mercenaries stopped firing to reload, Natalie immediately parted her wall into solid, round chunks and hurled them. Her vision obfuscated, she nearly missed her marks, but she was just accurate enough to render the enemies unconscious.
With the immediate threat quelled, Natalie wheeled around to chide Ramon for his carelessness, but she realized that he was focused on keeping Tailin aloft.
"Keep it up. I'll watch your back." She stated brusquely.

Giving Tailin the ability to fly AND cooperating with her was going to be more difficult than he thought. The super they were battling easily saw through their plan and counter-acted in a way that affected everyone. He felt semi-useless just sitting on the ground not being anything else but support for Pantheon. He set aside the thought for later so that he could think of some way for Tailin to get close enough to end their fight and get the prince back to safety.
Ramon heard gunshots being fired, he turned his head and saw Natalie covering him and taking out the mercenaries. She told him to keep it up to which he replied to with, "Thanks for the help. Do you think you could distract Tornado Alley somehow so we can rap this up sooner?"

Bertók breathed a sigh of relief when he heard he was to cover the rear, as he was beginning to grow physically weary from having to use his mirror so often, especially the last time, which took quite a bit of mental fortitude to harness. However, once they entered the blinding glare of outside, he took note of the wild sandstorm and realized it was not over just yet.
Immediately he witnessed Natalie fly off and, knowing she was capable in dealing with the looming threat, he resigned himself to his current task and kept close to the prince while using his mirror to see what was behind him. For once he was thankful he carried the damned thing everywhere he went.

And it was a good thing that Bertok was using the mirror, for behind them out walked the super that they had encountered before from the crumbling underground complex. His body was covered in soot, particularly around his hands where burn welts around his wrists could be seen. His eyes glowed bright yellow, and black smoke seemed to be emanating from his nose as he walked towards the group. In his hands he carried a rocket launcher, and he trained it on Bertok, Austin and the prince.
Meanwhile, Abigail sat crouched on the ground and looked up at the sky. She input their longitude and latitude into the ICD, and contacted Olympus.
"Mercury, this is Magnesia," she said quickly "The prince is secure. Requesting pickup immediately."'
"Copy that Magnesia" replied Mercury while tapping away at his keyboard while he relayed the coordinates to the military helicopters that were to pick them up. "They're on their way"
"Over and out!" she replied, and then she closed the line. She turned around to survey the scene behind her, having walked a considerable distance away from the battle zone. The tornado was very much looming in front of Saline and Richter who were presently preoccupied.
"Shenanigan," spoke Magnesia into the microphone "I'm going to create a diversion, and I want you to attack the lady while she's distracted. Saline, keep covering Richter, though do be aware of the approaching tornado." She could not see what the rest of the group was doing, she only hoped that they were still protecting the prince.
Abigail crouched and then propelled herself from the earth's surface, kicking up sand as she flew into the sky. The woman turned in her direction, took a deep breath and suddenly blew gale force winds at Magnesia. Magnesia flipped back and forth in the air until she regain control and flew higher into the sky. The woman looking up and flying after her.

((OOC: Thank you Kiki. You're the best.))
“Ach!”
Tailin flailed about like a ragdoll as the opposing super’s desperate burst of wind pushed her away and Richter struggled to keep her afloat. The element of surprise on which she had hoped to capitalize had all but dissipated, and frankly, she was beginning to panic. Truth be told, Tailin had always found a sense of security in her immense power. She had spent her life learning to control it, but deep down, she revelled in the destruction that she could cause on a whim. She was a daughter of legends. Invincible. Yet now, in a single moment, all of these delusions had been stripped away by the wind-controlling menace that stood between her and a successfully completed mission. Without Richter’s help, Tailin’s powers were meaningless against a foe with no reason to engage in direct combat. Even then, she was severely outmatched. Dread and a feeling of hopelessness began to set in.
Fortunately, it was at this moment that Abigail intervened with her own plan of misdirection. Tailin responded to her instruction with a quick “Roger that!” and proceeded to shout her own directions to Richter. “Alright, we’ve got one more shot! Take me up behind her, then give me full upper-body control. We’re ending this.”
As the earth-controlling boy whisked her away in pursuit of Abigail and the wind woman, Tailin prepared another paralyzing strike to the spine, this time with her fist. However, as she flew towards her target, she pondered whether or not she could avoid releasing too much force. The girl was angry enough to kill.

Austin cursed under his breath and drew a survival knife from his boot. "I should've killed you when I had the chance!" He said to Explodeo. The weapon didn't scare him, as he had his barriers to protect him. He brought one up and walked with a calm demeanor towards the super, taking a demented joy in being an inexorable wall of doom. "You should just join us. Who wants to live in this filthy desert? Now you don't even have a base. You'll die alone out in the middle of nowhere." He continued ever closer to the enemy, twirling the knife by its handle.

Bertók sighed as the mutant once again bothered them with his presence. Austin had already begun moving up to deal with the threat, but his past performance showed that he couldn't efficiently deal with the mutant. If anything, his barriers were incredibly ineffective in the situation because the mutant's orbs were surprisingly potent. With the limited mental strength he had left, he focused vision on the mutant once again and created a clone of him with the rocket launcher to take a shot at a rocket if one were to fly.
