There would be no point to having that many of the same character anyway.

One guy made a Toon Link over Link "port" because he wanted 6 more costumes on Toon Link.

EDIT: What's the issue with people wanting to expand the game, Dhragen?

That's what Cbliss is for

it wasn't around at the time

There's a limit of 50. The CSS can't use 100 slots, even if the hack allows it.

Explain.

If what you're talking about is a space issue, then lol

The creator, Phantom Wings, says that the engine itself makes it possible to have 100, but the ingame css' limit is at 50. They're trying to find a way to utilize all of the possible slots atm, so they can have 100 characters

While there is a limitation in that the CSS only allows 50 icons, there are codes that can let you work around that.

Yeah but lets face it, how many costumes of Shadow and Sephiroth can you possibly use? There arent many for the former, and the latter has more than one character slot can hold, but still isnt that many. Also there arent many complete version movesets for said characters either, so i dont see any point in having more than 2 of each at once.

Your level on taking extreme seriously an obvious joke about the Brawl-hacking past it's unparalell

If you were there 4 years ago, you should know how many Sonic Texture hacks, models hacks and PSAs was created for Shadow the Hedgehog, followed by Mewtwo hacks, Fierce Deity hacks, etc.....the joke just nods to that, obviously people wouldn't going to have many slots of the same character, but yeah, things could happen with Sonic, Super Sonic, Hyper sonic, Sword Sonic, Werehog Sonic, ............ etc.

Yeah, people can do whatever they want with it's game, but my issue goes with the ones who created them, sure there are talented people who still make amazing hacks, but many of them just doesn't care about texture or model quality on their hacks, they just make them too rushed or just import models.

Back in my days people cared more about quality when the thing was just textures, trying the characters to melt well with the game aesthetics, but now it's a mix that's really eyebleeding, like making a cell-shading low res texture Naruto to fight with the Brawl cast?, where's the effort on making it look good??

It's called a model import.
Models from other games that take a fairly long amount of time to be ported to SSBB. The model you're talking about is probably from another game.

i knew that, but still isn't an artistic effort from the creator, more like a programming/coding effort (unless they do work on the texture after importing it, i praise the people to do that too)

Because model importing is so easy, right? It's not as simple as click one button to take the model, click another to add it, and done.

If you read the previous comment i made, you can see that my whole argument was based around the aesthetic-side of Brawl hacking, if we were talking about coding effort that's another story.

Now with that clear, i am done, already made my point so there's no need to keep fighting over that kid, peace :)

I'm sure we can since it has been done before.
that, and people post videos of others playing, so it seems pretty much along the same lines.
