As for Steambox/Ouya, I'm not even sure how well these platforms will perform. After all, what new games are coming out for it?

Imagine it: The Steambox, being released simultaneously with Portal 3, Half Life 3, and Team Fortress 3, all in one magnificent pack called '3.'

It won't happen, but that would easily seat it in the console war.

So I've been reading a bit of articles here and there, and do any of you know if the whole 'if your account is banned you lose acces to all games you've bought' thing I've seen going around is correct? Because then Micorsoft can basically take away all your games (and thereby the console's functionality) would they desire so, leaving your Xbone as the world's most expensive paperweight (moreso then already is right now, I mean).

I wouldn't be surprised if it was true.

And obviously, they'd justify it by saying "Well, it's your fault for getting banned!!".

I had an argument with somebody (Nixter, was it?) before about how you don't actually own a game if you buy it digitally through something like Steam. Nice to see that M$ are applying that to physical copies now.

Nah it's okay, thanks for clarifying the situation. I wasn't really planning on buying an Xboned, but I was curious if they were actually implementing such a feature in their console.

The fact that Microsoft has to keep clarifying their faults bit by bit is unreasonable. They should have addressed all this rumors surrounding the console at E3.

I still wonder how third-party support will be on the X1. Many publishers (like EA and soon-to-be Ubisoft) are jumping ship on the Wii U. I'm gonna laugh if the tables turn for Nintendo after the publishers realize that X1 isn't that successful.
