I don't get the first part but I'm fifteen.
tbh I've never liked gen 1. Certain Pokémon designs like Magneton, Dugtrio, and Grimer have always irked me. Not to mention the overhyped a****** that is Charizard. There are others like Pikachu, Nidoking, and Alakazam, but Charizard is definitely the worst. And lmao the special stat.

You're entitled to your opinions, and it's true there were a lot of Pokemon that just evolved into bigger versions of themselves, but don't start mixing the problems with gen 1 Pokemon design with the inherent glitches in a game from 1998.

i think he's talking about the comments on the special stat, he's just saying that the argument about whether or not the pokemon are cool shouldn't really have anything to do with the game's mechanics

Do you guys think the Donkey Kong series should be considered a sub series of the Mario series or should they stand on par with each other?

Donkey Kong pretty much is and probably always will be a sub series of the Mario franchise. Look no further than the many Mario Karts, and the Mario vs Donkey Kong series (I know is a nod to the first Donkey Kong game, but still). So yeah, I think, it should remain recognized as one.

While that may be true, they are always located next to the Mario characters on the select screen as a reference to the series being related.
