So my birthday was yesterday... I *might* buy the 3DS next weekend ( due to pay check, and allowence).
Online Pictochat looks promising, but I can't imagine how Nintendo will work out the *filtering*, words and images alike.

They won't. They aren't going to be able to check everyone's pictochat messages. You can only message people on your friends list, who you need the friend code to register, so it's not like they're worried about stranger danger or anything. _________________    Ask me anything!!!

Oh, I didn't notice it was friends exclusively lol.
And no, the 3DS solely depends on wether I want it or not. I'm still deciding.
No, Im not buying Rumble Blast. The likes of Ferrothorn and Scizor suck, and Deoxys-S is overpowered (3 stars in every stat, what.)

Get RE:Mercs 3D if you can,I know there's a lot of hate for the lack of content but it's one of the best 3DS games already out now.

Mercs 3D was trying to be an expanded version of the Mercs Mini game Resident Evil 4 - The Mercenaries. However, with the same used sound effect, some issues dealing with frame rate, not able to reset the game's data, and the fact that it is highly repetitive, the game massively sucked. It could be fun if you played it once or twice with a couple of people on the 3DS. Its good at first but after the first couple of missions (around the first-second set), you'll agree how terrible the game is. Revelations is pretty much going to have the elements of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5 with its dark theme and gameplay as usual. I'd rather wait for Revelations because it looks more promising than how Resident Evil The Mercenaries 3D looks.

Mercs 3D was supposed to be a test for the 3DS hardware by capcom,but Mercs 3D is seriously addictive and I got around 160 hours of gameplay already.REvelations will support streetpass,online play and uses a 4GB game card(like the MGS for 3DS) IIRC,so revelations might have a mini Mercs as well.
I recommend Mercs 3D since there is always people online and REvelations will only be out during Feb 2012 which is still a few months away.

A new color for the 3DS doesn't necessarily mean it's going to have new functions. Something like "3DS Lite" would take a really long time to release. I would say that 2 games would be enough for now, I bought my Wii only along with Brawl.
Also, I'm not getting the 3DS so soon. It's really hard to buy consoles and games in foreign countries.
