For those of you who missed Lucina from Awakening:



From someone who owns the game right now at another forum, this game can be hacked to get some pretty crazy units, but there's sorta anti-cheats that allows you to reclass units to any class. You can't reclass to enemy specific class or else no one will be able to visit your castle until you wipe data.

it's kind of irritating that the Awakening characters are units in the base game instead of being DLC units.

like sweet instead of getting a new/potentially interesting child character we get Cordelia again. if i really wanted to have Cordelia for a second time i'd just get the DLC or go play Awakening.

i doubt they'd put original characters into the DLC since past characters would sell better probably. even if they did they wouldn't be children characters in the same way

the fact they were actual in-game units instead of DLC is frustrating though

i feel like even if the white campaign is easier, i'm going to enjoy playing through both anyway, since i can never really get enough fire emblem, and apparently the stories split entirely from chapter 6 onwards. AND i didn't even know there was going to be a third campaign, which i'll probably want to play too. but the best deal on that seems to be the one that includes the artbook, and it's definitely going to be crazy expensive in australia. idk man.

imo if you're gonna just get one version & get the other two as DLC later, it makes more sense to get Birthright first, since it's supposedly easier, then play Conquest after for a sort of difficulty curve

i got the special edition, I really don't know how 3 games on the one cartridge will work (in australia its 200 dollaridoos for the special edition, f*** hell. thank god i'm literally swimming in 100 yuan notes here)
