[Resolved] Moving throughout frames in AS3?

on 1 keyframe i have a red button, on the next keyframe i have a blue button... i want the two buttons to go to each other. how would this be done? and also i want a character whos char.x - 0 then move to next frame. iv looked online, but cant find anything helpful that works.

To be entirely honest with you I am not up to date on AS3 and I can't recommend anyone who is. So I wouldn't like to suggest anything that might not work. Sorry

I will try and find someone who may be able to help you though as a few lecturers at my uni work with flash.

thanks,well I'm making a game, not like ssf, or ssf2, and i just need to no if there's a way that i can move throughout frames.

if character.x = 0
then
character = x,y on frame(2)

or something, on as3 or as2(preferably as2)(wont work right in as3 wont let me use my .as files)

its more of asking for code than a request for a tutorial, but im sure it could be helpful for other people doing similar things.

and google hasnt helped much at all, iv already tried, that and the actionscript helper thing doesnt help,

i couldn't find anything helpful on that site... but my cis teacher is going to let me barrow some random book on cs3. looks promising. so for now my problem is resolved
