OOC: You're still unconscious I guess, Julius and Charisma are making a fire, and J is sleeping away from the group.

Serene closed her eyes, and pulled herself from Eton's arms. Slowly standing up, she painfully limped out of the village. "I need to find Black King..." she muttered in a low voice, looking out at the land before her. "Damn you Black King..."

Black King lifted his head up from the stream. He c*** it to one side and looked to see a small figure limping away from the village. His eyes opened wide in disbelief. It couldn't be, how could she still be alive. "That mouth would have surely killed her...how is she moving at all?"

She sighed, looking down at the fire tomb held between her fingers. She took a deep breath, taking a glance at the wood Julius had gathered. It stayed there on the ground, almost as if it was waiting to be burned. "I really don't think this will end well." Charisma muttered, looking back into the book. "Alright, here goes nothing." She her left hand, as if aiming it at the wood, her right hand holding the book. Her eyes were focused as she concentrated on the spell. Closing her eyes as it finished, not wanting to see the result, assuming she would mess it up.

Charisma muttered the incantation and the fire ball shot forth from her hand at the wood, igniting it intesily. It looked like enough to make it through the night. Julius took a step back from the flickerign of the flames.

"And you lack confidence, just look at that fire."


Eton held Serene up as he followed her out.

"I don't know where he went off too." He said. "Look, let's get the rest of the group, it's probably not a good idea to leave without them."

She gazed at the fire in awe, not believing she was the one to do that. "wow." was the only word she could speak. "I guess I should believe in myself more.." She wasn't going to be believing in herself any time soon, but said it anyway. She sat down near the flames, still amazed. The fire she made, from a spell she read was keeping the group warm. She turned her head, looking up at Julius. "Thank you!" She said excitedly with a smile on her face.

OOC: Is any angel of mercy going to save me from the big, bad, scary Tekun? Or am I gonna have to bust a move?

OOC: No time to post, but I feel inclined to say that the entire time I've been visiting this forum for this one RP I've been driven insane by people who post in third person and still do not mention their character's name in their posts. To be honest it's irksome and it's not hard not to do.

Windy dragged the body of the man with the powers of darkness. Eventually she reached the other man who had grabbed her tail ungraciously. She knew that his mind was warped but he was human and would be able to help, she let go of Rana in front of the man. Her next task was to find the child that her mistress had taken as her own. She flapped her wings and surged into the air the entire town was demolished and she thought that the fire might spread because of the battle. Eventually she spotted him from the sky he seemed to be in some sort of distress, she landed beside him in a "woosh" of air.

"Don't worry Lex can handle himself for a while" she said while dragging/walking Leon away from their squabble. Violet had a vague knowing that the wise woman would be around nearby. She began to sing about a crazy old woman jumping about to make a frog stew, it wasn't really a song that she felt like singing but it was such a happy tune she almost laughed. Soon enough she heard a cackling and the rustling of leaves, a wild woman with glittering eyes and her hair full of twigs and leaves fell from the branch in front of her.

"You seek me out lass?" she cackled while slapping her knees.

"Yes," said Violet "This man has had an allergic reaction to an enchanted arrow"

The old woman laughed again to point that she was almost coughing "Oh dear! This stocky man allergic to magic arrows?" she slapped her knees and laughed again "Guess he's not as tough as he looks. Come come my child I have just the thing to cure him...and I find the reaction to be most pleasurable" she said slyly with a mischievous glint in her eyes. Violet helped Leon down and incline and found herself in a low roofed underground home. A large fireplace with a cauldron was at the far end, various dried herbs hung from the ceiling and jars filled with unknown contents lined the walls. She picked up one of the jars and opened them, she wrinkled her nose at the smell, then smiled. She took out a bowl and placed various herbs and spices into the bowl and mixed it all together lastly she added the vile smelling substance into the mixture. She put her finger in it and licked it her face turned to a shade of green and she started to cough violently.

"Ugh its terrible....perfect" she said. The old woman took a ladle from her cauldron and took a big spoonful of the disgusting concoction. "Drink it child" she said to Leon with her hand extended.

Gabriel stared in astonishment as the great bird dropped Rana's body at his feet. "Smart bird," He muttered, before crouching down and peeling back a ripped piece of the man's robe. Underneath the cloth Rana's skin looked like shattered glass. There were tiny cuts everywhere and larger cuts going down his back. "Like a piece of art..." Gabriel smiled.
"I think he wants to hurt us."
Gabriel looked over his shoulder at Lucifer. Hadn't the others noticed him come up? "Why?"
"He's strong and he didn't seem nice, is all. We should kill him."
Gabriel gawked at Lucifer, surprised nobody else had reacted. Did they agree...? "But... But he killed a dragon all on his own... What if he's nice?"
Lucifer scowled. "Fine."
Gabriel nodded and looked back at the young, bleeding boy, and scratched his head, waiting for someone else to do something.

The spoon was forced into a reluctent Leon, when the fluid went down his throat, he coughed and hacked and fell back.

"Ugh........Vi....olet....." He muttered half awake and then pssed out wondering if he was poisoned or not.

Violet's eyes widened in shock "Did you...?" started Violet backing away from the old woman. The woman cackled and clucked her tongue against the roof of her mouth "Oh hush child he is not dead...he'll wake up soon enough" she cackled "It'll have a bad aftertaste and his breath will smell rancid." Violet's nose wrinkled at the thought of such a terrible smell though was relieved that he wasn't going to die anymore.

OOC: Sorry. I'm here, I'm here. I was gone for a couple days.



Lex's habit of constantly saving his energy proved extremely useful as the archer continued to chase after him. He knew he would be able to keep up his dodging and ducking for quite a while, if need be. However, he wished to sort things out in a non-violent way. He flew behind the next tree and waited for the archer to come around. As he circled the trunk, Lex drew his sword and slashed around the bend. Even a dull sword can be deadly when swung with incredible force. A bludgeoning weapon, before anything else and even the magic was starting to wear off. He had driven the archer far enough from his bow and arrows so that he wouldn't be able to go back for them before Lex could make his escape.

Tekun began to search frantically through the rubble of the ruins of a nearby building, in this search he found an unconscience Zesper. He clenched his teeth tightly and drew his blade.

"If you had listened to me, none of this would have happened." He muttered.

Leon lay there out like a light, silent, but breathing yet. It would appear the medicine had worked.

Zesper's eyes fluttered open, and the world around him slowly came into focus. The first noticeable thing was searing pain him his right arm, and by his judgment, it was most likely dislocated. All across his armor were various dents, most of which were caused by the dragon's grip on him, but they were nothing he couldn't repair. He was attempting to sit up, when he heard the sound of rock and rubble being shifted about. Now that he looked about him, he remembered that he had been throw into a unstable building and now the ruins lay all about him. His focus returned back to the noise he had heard before. Judging by the lack of any echo, it was very close, and was getting closer. "Whatever that noise is coming from, by the speed and ferocity of it, it's urgent. But if it's friend or foe, I cannot tell. My best option is to play dead and weigh my choices from there..." And with that, Zesper let his body go limp, closed his eyes, and slowed his breathing to a crawl, and lie motionless amongst the wreckage.


"If you had listened to me, none of this would have happened."

Suddenly Zesper felt a presence hovering above him, and the all too familiar sound of a blade being withdrawn from it's sheath. As he lay there, Zesper thought hard "Where have I heard that voice before? Was it the orange haired boy?... No... The survivor? Yes, that's it... Tekun, was it? And it seems as though he wants blood... my blood." A sinking feeling came over him, as he realized that the appearance of the dragons were his doing, and now the boy was seeking revenge. Now he had three options, the first was to continue to act dead and be at the mercy of the boy, the second was to reason with him, and the third was to overwhelm the boy but risk risk the chance of wavering in a conflict because of his damaged arm. Zesper having the curse of pride, chose the third. With a burst of pent-up energy, he burst to life and with a few grunts of pain, rolled on his side away from Tekun before bumping into what used to be a staircase. Then, with the sound of armor grinding together, Zesper slowly rose to his feet, and then stood at his full height, the collar of his cape obscuring the ghost of a smile that haunted his facial features. Then with a sweeping motion with his good hand, he pointed his new found sword (that he had clutched so tightly with him this entire time) at Tekun, his other arm hung limply at his side with his cape covering most of it up. Then he said in a low, gruff tone "Do you really think this is... the reasonable thing to do?..."

OOC: Yeah It's kinda a long post. But I thought I could use some recap from my absence of posts.

"Do you really think this is... the reasonable thing to do?..."

"Reasonable? Do you think it was reasonable to just go ahead and start doing what you did, despite my pleas." Tekun questioned. "How you ignored me completely in a time of need to burn the bodies of the fallen. To...to continue to do that though I warned you."

Anger built up inside Tekun, deep down, he knew Tania wouldn't have wanted this, but, revenge was needed, she was dead now, and this man was the cause. He could not let anymore of this slide, there needed to be action taken.

"I'll kill you because you killed my friend. A life for a life sounds reasonable enough."
