Nope IGN's reactions and impressions are the opposite of this review. The reviewer clearly lacks experience and a game is not changed to lower it's framerate before release. It's painfully obvious that if he played this at all it was only for 15 minutes for he did not mention half of the modes or much of any content because he knew nothing of it. IGN is clearly just a Sonic-Hate Site and no matter what they will always give these games these kind of scores. If this same person in IGN wrote a Zelda review he would stamp 10 cause it's a zelda game. It sickens me how badly written and how much make-believe crap IGN stuffed into this review. Nintendo Power and Xbox Magazine did much better reviews of these recent Sonic Games and I don't see why IGN just can't play the damn game. Or the reviewer since I really have no idea how many are just plain biased.

Yes, professional gaming sites totally go and don't play through full games before reviewing them, that'd be smart. About the Zelda comment... aren't Zelda games, you know, good?

but anyways, this is a sonic discussion,
so i know the game looks good in presentation but I'm not sure if its so good in gameplay.
I trust IGN's staff alot since their views on gaming closely reflect my own, so I know there will be some truth in that review. Especially the part about the gameplay

Another problem I have with this review is that it's just clearly flat-out lying about the speed. Sega has released plenty of videos showing a variety of levels that Sonic is moving through at top speed. As far as I can tell, here's what the levels are like: Zoomzoomzoom fast for a while, then occasionally stop for, at the most, 10-15 seconds to slash up some enemies, then blast off at top speed to resume the zoomzoomzoomyness. Even the sword battles with the other knights seem speedy.

Btw, have you guys seen the Gawain trailer? It's on the Nintendo channel.

I don't trust ign that much after they reviewed Kirby Super Star Ultra. The review wasn't even a page long!

Though I do listen to what they say, I'm gonna wait for a thrid opinion.

well, no. I'm just using information from videos and trailers. I've seen the video of the entire first level (tutorial level), which was pretty speedy. I took that as an indication. I'm just saying that I find IGN's comments very questionable when everything I've seen of the game indicates otherwise.
