Why the hell not? Seriously-if you're going to take a forum script with is so cripplingly low in ajax and streamlining features, the least you could do is reduce the amount of pages we need to navigate to post our ideas... Has a little to do with my next suggestion as well. This is a big WTF for me.

Yeeeaaaah... Do you have any idea how hard it is for people with slow connections to browse this forum? No ajax, everything gives you a confirmation message (another page to load!), and on top of it you have signatures which take hours to load on their own because of the images in them! Totally kills the load time. I would really put a limit on that...

Just two suggestions.

You don't have to navigate through any pages if you don't want too

Just click A page number or the POST icon ( in the topic)

I'm referring to the extra load for the reply page and the extra load page for the "thank you, your reply has been posted" (no other forum script does that without an option of getting around it and it is incredibly lame), and the fact that it doesn't matter which page number you go to, you still see all these massive, difficult animated sig banners that load so slowly.

This is the 21st century, what are you doing on the information highway with dial-up of all things?

We're Cleod & DT are not going to start coding rather annoying features just because one or two members haven't discovered that there's something higher than kbits.

Kilobytes, for example.
