They didn't say there won't be DLC. They said that there's no plans for DLC at the moment.
Read: Everything that was made to go in the game will be there when you buy the disk. They're not removing things from the game just so they can sell them to you later.
Don't be sad about them not trying to jew you.

I don't think Sakurai would be the type of person to hold content back just to make a few more bucks in DLC. He seems like the type of person that puts all of his energy into a project. Even if this wasn't the case, it'd be a better move from a business standpoint to make the best game possible and put everything you can into the amount of time you have for development to promote higher sales.

I keep rewatching the Smash Bros 3DS/Wii U trailer and I still can't get over 3 things
1. Samus's Fsmash. It's so freaking fast.
2. Link's UpB doesn't go anywhere.. Like he barely moves with it. It seems like he'll be poopy yet again
3. Bowser's improvements. He's looking quite good tbh.

You need to remind yourself that the game is still in development, those things are subject to change.

BD : Sapling Grow Must Rapidly Press the B button for it to grow.

If Nintendo does put DLC in the game, I'm honestly expecting it to be fairly small. It might end up being a total of two characters and a stage or something, primarily because of the 3DS hardware limit. Not that that's small - the Skullgirls Kickstarter showed just how much hassle adding a DLC character is, plus each one will have extra data for Kirby - but it'll be less than the whinier Smash Bros fans will want.

I love how they're both just sitting there like "Something's very wrong here."

The fact we've only seen this monstrosity on Castle Wily tends to support it as a stage hazard.

I am 99% sure Yellow Devil(I think that's its name) is a stage hazard. Protoman for AT/character

Speaking of Megaman, what themes you think the stage will have? there's alot of themes to choose, ALOT, and i am even considerating the classic megaman ones, lol
The confirmed ones are:
-Wily Stage 1 (MM2) (Confirmed) -Opening (MM 2) (Played during the megaman trailer)
My Guesses are: (i am considering a 10 music limit for my list)
-Wily/Yellow Devil Boss theme (MM1) -Stage Select Medley (1-10 or 1-6) (Considering the stage select themes are short, can make the medley not so long) -Boss Battle (MM2) -Boss Battle (MM7) -Electrical Communication (MM8) (Intro of MM8, Only MM theme with vocals, lol) -Tornado Man stage (MM9) (in particular because it was the theme used on the Megaman 9 trailer, and the return of 8 bit megaman) -Abandoned Memory (MM10) -Central Highway (MMX) (one theme of one spinoff, in Brawl GHZ also had one or two themes from sonic spin-offs)
Some are ones i like, and some that i think will likely be in. I was gonna wondering about a boss battle medley, but there's too much of them for mix them in 1, even for a MM 1-6 medley

That fact can also support it as a boss, since bosses are always fought on the same stage, with the exception of Galleom, since he's fought twice.
