Heh, actually, this does make me wonder why indeed a good deal of modern war-themed games do lack rules of combat. I know some FPSs have been moving into that area, though, but as far as I know, (realistic) RTSs fail to follow.

RTSs are unrealistic by default. Think of it as real time chess.

Doesn't make him less of an activist. It only stopped him from filing idiotic lawsuits.

And as for the Modern Warfare 2 airport shoot up mission, the only regret I have is wasting my grenade launcher ammo on civvies.

also take into consideration that when your shooting the "injured soldiers" they tend to still be shooting. this is just ridiculous and a waste of a study.

I sorta agree, yet kinda disagree. If you got addicted to something like this, and decided to try it in real life, then there'd be problems...

Ex. There was a guy in my state that killed four cops at a coffee shop because he got mad at somebody in the summer. Not to mention, he told all of his family first... So maybe he got some sort of bad influence, possibly from something like this. He also said after the cops, he'd kill little kids (civilians).

It's very easy to kill people in games but its killing without any real life punishment,but i am sure that a lot of people will think about the punishment(eg.jail) only morons will do it

I beg to differ. It is the government's fault for having poor enforcement of the ratings given to games. Retailers aren't generally that scrupled or at least that is my experience. That said, I do think those ratings are often too narrow-minded.

Then there is the subject of illegal downloading, where it is virtually impossible to check what a child does and does not watch. In particular in poor areas in the US this is actually a big problem (because parents need two or three jobs to make a living). Figure why I dislike neo-liberalism.

To be honest, I can imagine that it is shocking for somebody who is devoted to fighting war crimes to see that such practices are turned into gameplay. Though that does not merit the statement they published in my opinion.
