I love it.
Altough, a little nitchpick is that ALL your stages are from Zelda.
Not saying that's a bad thing, your sprites are amazing, altough some more variety would certainly do better. (Maybe a Glover or Kirby stage?)
Anyways, Keep it up.

lol I'll try to do a stage from a different game, I just really like the Zelda series, so many great locations, but also the music is really important and Zelda music is the best.

Ummm.... What does music have to do with this?

It's what you hear when Spriting?

Please let's not argue about music in the wrong section.
(But Mother music is the best)

He does Zelda stages because he likes the series and the music that could be played on them, it's not hard to figure out.
And it's his thread, why do you care what he talks about?

Something I have been working on recently. It's not my favourite stage I've done and it still needs a lot of work, but I just wanted to share it to see what people think. So, critique away!

You could remove the Polygons, It would look better.

This depends on the style your trying to emulate. If you want it to be in a ssf2 style then remove the polygons but, if you want it to look retro then keep them. The stage looks really good and has a lot of detail so far!

After a few more hours work.

I don't understand what you mean by remove the polygons? Do you mean make things less square/rectangular?

I think he means the base of the stage is a hexagon and isn't a clean square or a clean circle instead. Basically compare loz: oot n64 version to the 3ds version.

So I hear what you're saying about polygons, so I thought maybe this base would be better? Thoughts?

It'd be better to make it Chamber of the Sages at this point, rather than what the base is.

But the base by itself looks nice!

I really, really like where this is going. The texture work is superb and the linework spot-on. I'm interested in seeing more.
